So good to see two Vic teams in the Finals in a very weird Footy season year... 13.01.2022 We are into February already! The year is flying, our family has introduced another little one into the world. We have welcomed little Alice our 6th grandchild now to our midst. Two have started school! So grown up. And for me, a birthday has just passed.reflection...so important to take stock and take time for OURSELVES, refresh, renew, restore. 12.01.2022 Celebrating birthdays and special occasions are a little different now in Isolation, however we do the best we can and hopefully in years to come we will look back and know that there was a lot of extra love sent to each and everyone during those facetime/zoom contacts... even though Grandma and Pa were a little slow getting onto the program at times. (It is a lovely way to see those dear little faces )

11.01.2022 Well, where has this year gone?? I am sure everyone has been a little caught out by how fast we have found ourselves here at the 1st of December so soon!! I know I have, and also I must say a little slack in not keeping up with posting on facebook. 09.01.2022 It's coming round to that time of year again.. must admit our tree is already up and house if fully decorated. Christmas carols have been playing for the past few months.. What can I say? I love Christmas, and all the good will and joy it brings with it. With the year we have had please remember to stay patient with each other as the "silly season" rush hits, although I think this year we have all learnt to appreciate each other that bit more, so maybe we will be nicer to each other when out shopping and not be rude to the shop assistants and more patient in car parks etc. What do you know?? Could be this years Christmas miracle.

I have found I turn around and the day has just disappeared, and all my good intentions of ticking off my 'too do' list has gone out the window for another day! Covid Iso or not the year for me has just flown and with Winter Solstice fast approaching... I think I will be getting my Christmas Decorations down shortly..

02.01.2022 Well, I hope everyone has made a start well and truly with their preparations for Christmas if they are going to! My youngest daughter Laura, (who some may remember, when she worked at the shop for a while with me, back in the day) has started a lovely tradition for little ones who are only 2 and half and 4 months when it comes to presents from Santa, They will are following the rule... some they Want, share, read and Wear. That way, there is no overbuying and everyone is h...appy. I think its a great idea, and wished I had thought of that back in her day for her and her brother and sister... sigh! Well anyways, as we wind up with work these next two weeks take care everyone and please look out for each other, and be kind, especially if you have elderly neighbors that you know may not have many visitors or relatives around this time of year.
