19.01.2022 It hasnt taken long for our first #NativeBee guests to move in to the #BrooksideBeeNB. Prof Chris Daniels pointed out the closed off hole (bottom lhs in the drilled log). Congratulations to the #landcare work team! These #BeeNBs provide a home, but there must be plenty of native plants available, flowering throughout the year, for the adult bees to collect pollen to feed their brood and nectar to provide the adults with energy. This can be a good project for home gardens LOVE Campbelltown Campbelltown Arthouse Inc.

18.01.2022 We are interested to know where this torrent of muddy water has come from in Third Creek, starting about 1330 today? Has #StonyfellQuarries opened up the floodgates? Campbelltown Council SA Council staff may know or #DEW Green Adelaide could advise us.

18.01.2022 A wonderful morning was spent with #landcare group members and friends from LOVE Campbelltown in Campbelltown City Council (SA) #BrooksideCellars with Green Adelaide s Prof Chris Daniels. What lives along our Creek? was the question and Chris told us about the #Adelaide #bioregion and his 20 favourite creatures. #Nature turned it on for a sunny stroll in #TheGums. A great time had by all!

17.01.2022 Here is some weekend reading about #MMT (Modern Monetary Theory) and how we can gainfully have work programmes that improve social and mental #Wellbeing, whilst the many unemployed search for work as the post COVID-19 economy and society rebuilds: "The idea is to task people with useful work that is valued by the community and to provide compensation for that work in the form of a decent wage and benefit package." Prof Stephanie Kelton The Deficit Myth https://www.abc.net.au//what-is-modern-monetary-t/12455806

12.01.2022 We are appalled by the duplicitous nature of Campbelltown Council in proposing the removal of 2 significant trees and 30 other established trees to make way for 2 netball courts in the redevelopment of Max Amber Sportsfield. Please sign the petition: http://chng.it/dvJKRw82cQ
