15.01.2022 This morning I attended an ex-"The Heights school students Funeral, Chris Hartshorne. Chris was one of about 10 students who gave their time, enthusiasm and creativity to the construction of The Heights First Pedal Prix entry in 1988. Chris was enthusiastic, prepared to try new skills and share his ideas. He is second from the right in the Inspection photo of Pantha. Its hard to believe that Chris has passed away.I also met Greg Helps at Chriss Funeral - Greg was another member of Pantha and a very good friend of Chris. He is on the far left, in this photo.My sincere condolences to Chriss Family and Friends. John Kidman, old Technical Studies Senior.

15.01.2022 The photos are of the First Pedal Prix student constructed vehicle at The Heights school in 1988. I have posted this due to the number of past students, several involved in the above project, working most Saturdays, with the great assistance from some parents. The vehicle was selected to be on Ch. 9, with the crew that pedaled it for 24 hours. Several other students created and produced the team motif and T shirts for the crew - The Pantha. Thanks to Mr John Kidman for these great photos.

13.01.2022 I know it's taken a while to thank everyone for attending the reunion/40yr celebration of the school opening in 1977. We had guests attend from interstate - which is incredibly over whelming ~ THANK YOU! A big thank you to Craig Dawson for performing for us before he embarked on his special adventures in Dublin for St Patrick's Day. ... Thank you to the amazing Mary Jackson (Original Deputy Principal 1977) for attending. Thank you Frances Bedford (local politician & parent) for taking time in attending our afternoon of celebrations (1week before elections) and you made a generous donation to the school. Thank you John Kidman (senior Tech studies teacher 1970's-1994) For your assistance and encouragement along the way. And a huge thank you to Bev Hall (dedicated parent since 1977 & the governing council) Please pencil 2027 into your memory banks for the 50yr reunion!! Let's hope to god we all make it there.... In the meantime... remember where you came from and how much fun we had at the Heights School Thank you everyone again for making the 40yr reunion happen! Spread the word regarding the next one! Same place, maybe a saturday night this time. Watch this space

THE RELATIVES and FRIENDS of the late SAM BASS (SAPol Retired and SAAS) are repectfully informed that his Funeral Service will be conducted in the Heysen Chapel, Centennial Park on WEDNESDAY, July 4, 2018 commencing at 10.15 a. m. While this is a difficult time for us, we take comfort in the fact that she lived a big and fulfilling life and was loved by so many. Glyn, Jessica and Hannah.
