24.01.2022 Experienced COOK. We are a busy little café in Bowral near the Hospital and Bradman oval open seven days a week. This is a casual position (3 shifts) and includes Saturdays and Sundays. We are known and loved for our food and coffee and have many regulars who rely on the home style food made with great care and quality ingredients. If you look at the posts you will get an idea of the food we make. Whilst making the delicious goodies that go out into the display fridge the coo...k also looks after the short orders which includes our well known burgers - the rehab, maternity and emergency! The successful candidate will need to have the following skills: be passionate about food and sharing this love of food with our customers, someone who demonstrates initiative and is enthusiastic, able to work well under pressure, have strong communication skills, able to direct the all rounders helping in the kitchen, passion for the hospitality industry, have a high level of personal presentation and hygiene, be reliable and punctual. And we use the GF bread crumbs all the time - with our fish cakes, in the meatballs and here in our veggie paddies which are on one of our wraps today The bread goes into the freezer at the end of Thursday’s and as they slice the bread now it’s easy to buy frozen and use. We can also do special orders from @deekshealthfoods if we don’t carry a loaf you like. Simply order and pay in advance.
