We are very pleased to have chosen Signature Pontoons to repair our own pontoon this week and I can see why Leon is in high demand. Such a pleasant and caring tradesman and obviously clever business owner as well. Having lived Bayside for the past 15 years Leon qualifies as a local. On weekends, like many of us, Leon can be found with his family and friends crabbing, fishing, boating..in fact, if it involves water and camping Leon will be there. Although, as he and his partner Amy had the joy of welcoming their first baby into the world in January this year, the camping trips havent been quite as frequent. Not much has changed for Signature Pontoons throughout the Covid-19 period apart from a quieter than normal month or so, but certainly back into full swing now. Leon has of course ensured he has and continues to follow the appropriate Covid-19 measure on each job site. Leon started the business 3 years ago after working 11 years in the business for a larger Pontoon and Marina specialist. Seeing the gaps in the market for repairs and refurb, the decision to go alone has proven to be a great decision. Booked 6 months in advance from virtually day one, Leon puts that down to his point of difference being their focus on repair & maintenance whereas the larger companies prioritise larger and new work. Leon also sights their strengths as being friendly, reliable and fast to respond to enquiries and getting the work done. They will always take calls, and importantly return them promptly and then complete work as soon as possible. Not something we see in many trades ..and this is exactly what happened when we reached out to Leon to have our pontoon repaired. Leon shared that most of Signature Pontoons work comes from word of mouth referrals. This says it all!! If you want quality work, friendly and caring operators, competitive and on time, you cannot go past Leon and his team at Signature Pontoons.

24.01.2022 Hello Bayside communtiy, I recently had the wonderful opportunity to sit down with Nadine Le Man, owner of the Wynnum Music Centre based on Bay Terrace. The Wynnum Music Centre came to life 7 years ago when Nadine and her husband Dan took a change in their careers. Nadine had a pharmacy background and had to learn everything about musical instruments. Dan was already a musician and loved all sorts of instruments not just playing them, but also repairing and handcrafting the... instruments. When they bought the place, it was not nearly a music store which had a big variety of instruments. Guitars, Amps, Drums, Keyboards, Brass & Woodwind and Accessories. That was my first thought when we dropped by to congratulate Binary Music in Cleveland on being nominated as a Finalist in the BaR awards. As you can see from the photos below, @KarenHenderson and Len Henderson are no strangers to winning awards and when we spend some time with Karen and Len you quickly understand why. ... At the age of four (when most of us are at Preschool) Karen was composing "Ride On A Roundabout" and 4 year old Little Len was sneaking his brothers guitar out from under the bed to play it secretly!!! (Seriously, most of us have trouble with the recorder at age 4......but not these 2). So we guess it was destiny that these 2 would end up in the field of music and winning awards as adults. Karen and Len wanted to publicly thank all of their clients who shop with them as well as learn guitar, ukele and piano (and I've heard that they will be introducing some workshops shortly in other musical areas!!!) This powerhouse couple have also just celebrated their 30th year in business last month - something that not many other businesses can boast.
