24.01.2022 Walking through Chinatown, a tourist is fascinated with all the Chinese restaurants, shops, signs and banners. He turns a corner and sees a building with the sign, "Hans Olaffsens Laundry. "Hans Olaffsen?", he muses. "How the heck does that fit in here?" So he walks into the shop and sees an old Chinese gentleman behind the counter. The tourist asks, "How did this place get a name like "Hans Olaffsens Laundry?" The old man answers, "Is name of owner." The tourist asks, "W...ell, who and where is the owner?" "Me, is right here," replies the old man. "You? How did you ever get a name like Hans Olaffsen?" "Is simple," says the old man. "Many, many year ago when come to this country, was stand in line at Documentation Center. Man in front was big blonde Swede. Lady look at him and go, "What your name?" He say, "Hans Olaffsen." Then she look at me and go, What your name?" "I say, Sem Ting."

24.01.2022 A few weekends ago someone washed & dried about 5 loads of clothes, but still hasnt come back to collect... is anyone having crazy flash backs of a wild Friday night at the laundromat? or feeling a bit short on clothes? Ill give it another week then take it all to Salvos.

22.01.2022 Shrunken jumper or cardigan ? Soak it in loads of conditioner and small amount of water. Then gently pull and stretch it back into shape.

20.01.2022 Tip number 1... in order to get all your clothes to fit nicely in the machine, take them off first.

06.01.2022 Did you know that putting on a full load of washing not only saves water but cleans your clothes better than doing a small load? It is actually the clothes rubbing up against each other that cleans them not the agitator. So the more clothes in there the better!

03.01.2022 1. If I were rich, instead of doing laundry when my clothes got dirty, Id go buy a whole new wardrobe. Then Id put all the dirty clothes in the wardrobe, and go buy new clothes. 2. In college, when I didnt have enough money to do laundry, Id just go visit my parents. They always leave money laying around. 3. I love the convenience of having a washer and dryer in my house. It makes a great backup, in case the laundry service every goes out of business. ... 4. I prefer to get my clothes dry-cleaned. Its safer, and a whole lot easier, really. Wait, dry-cleaning is when you rub deodorant all over your clothes, right? 5. When I do laundry, I always end up losing a single sock. I hate that! I cant count how many times Ive gotten blisters on my feet from wearing only one sock. 6. Theyve invented this new line of disposable clothing, to make you buy more. To keep you from washing them, they dissolve in water. Thats good for them, I guess, but my fish arent going to be happy about being naked all the time. 7. I hate using the public laundromat, because its always full of freaks. Theres the Naked People, washing their one set of clothes; the Friendly People, who wont stop talking to you; the Folders, who get all anal about folding everything. Oh, and worst of all are the Dryer-Lint Nuts, who have to throw every last bit of their dryer lint away. What the fuck do they care if I collect their lint and take it home? 8. Im not a big fan of video games, but theres this one arcade nearby that I love. Im really good at this one game: it costs a buck, and if you win, your clothes get washed. I cant seem to figure out their other game, though. 9. Whats the deal with fabric softener? I cant figure that shit out. No matter how many I use, it doesnt seem to make any difference. Maybe Im just wearing it wrong, I guess. 10. I went to the laundromat the other day, and all I had to wear was an old clown wig, a green suit jacket and some fake leather pants. I was so happy to finish my laundry and get out of there, so I could put on my new clown wig, my purple suit jacket, and my real leather pants.
