For Service and Affiliate memberships it is $25 per year or $60 for three (3) years. 25.01.2022 The President, Secretary and committee wish to announce that the Vice President, Mr Stephen COOK has stood aside from his duties within the Sub Branch to focus on other projects. He will remain a member of the Veteran community in Melton but will relinquish his many roles over the next few months. We would like to thank Stephen for his years of service and the many projects he has championed. The position of Vice President was due for re-election at the 2021 AGM. How this will look in the current COVID 19 space is currently being investigated by the Secretary and Assistant Secretary. Expressions of interest for Vice President, Treasurer and Committee roles will be advertised in due course.

23.01.2022 Vale Air Marshal Selwyn David Evans (retired) | It’s with sadness that today we mark the passing of Air Marshal Evans, our Chief of the Air Staff 1982-1985. His... 42 years of #AusAirForce service included the Berlin Airlift, and commanding No. 2 Squadron during the Vietnam War. Among his awards was the Distinguished Service Order for his devotion to duty, courage in the face of enemy fire, and leadership both in the air and on the ground in Vietnam. Today, Tuesday 15 September a full Service funeral will be held in Canberra for Air Marshal Evans that will include: 2.30-2.45pm*: Guard of Honour and firing of blank volleys by Australia's Federation Guard. 2.40-3.00pm*: Formation flypast of two F-35A Lightnings and two F/A-18A/B Hornets in a low-level ‘missing man’ formation. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral attendance will be limited to family, close friends and invited guests. More information, including livestream and further flypast details is available at http://bit.ly/AFFlyingActivity *All timings are subject to change. 22.01.2022 At times like this, it’s great to have my kids around me, especially during lockdown, to gain a closer connection to them, helping them through home-schooling,... or more of the fun things like teaching them how to ride bikes. One of the biggest influences in my life was my father, and I’d always want to model the way he took care of me with my children. Zak Critsilis, Veteran, Open Arms peer, father, son Happy Father’s Day!
