24.01.2022 Finally getting around to knitting some mens long johns..following the pattern exactly to see how they turn out. Once done I can see if any adjustments are needed to make them wearable..not by me ;) These will end up on display as "other stuff you can make on a sock machine"

22.01.2022 I will miss standing out in the rain and /or cold at 9pm tonight waiting in anticipation for the bingo to finish and us to take over the North Bendigo bowls club for the big weekend that is The Artisans Textile Festival/Bendigo Sheep Show. It feels weird and just isnt the same not being there to join my tribe .....I miss you all.. But Wont next year be something very special...lots of catching up..big stories to tell and that lovely feeling of being home. 19.01.2022 Our time in the little pop up shop at 69 Fraser street has sadly come to an end.. Leanne and I would like to thank Chris for her generosity in allowing us use of the space since December last year. We are currently looking at options for a new premises so once we are organized again and covid allows we will keep you all updated.. thank you all for your ongoing support..janine

16.01.2022 Yesterday in our shop, I had the pleasure of meeting 3 repeat customers who had travelled all the way from Traralgon in Gippsland. Barry Stuckey, Carolyn & Kim Carroll in her gorgeous orange jacket and beanies, all posed for me with their bounty of socks they just purchased. Due to the latest change in lockdown rules..our bricks and mortar shop at 69 Fraser St Clunes will be shutting doors again until things settle down. 14.01.2022 Love this little machine...1904 gearhart doesnt skip a beat even when the uplift cam spring breaks Still keeps knitting away without a hiccup. Will pop a new one on when I get her home (working in my shop with her at the moment)
