24.01.2022 Broome to Bicton - this Saturday 16 Feb from 4.30pm! Our friends at the Clontarf Foundation are hosting this concert for the 17th year! No need to buy tickets - but the event relies on the generosity of you good people who attend to help cover the cost of running it, so remember to bring some cash and dig deep on the night. There is no food or drink for sale at the event. Limited parking is available at Rob Campbell Park on Phipps Street.... See ya there

21.01.2022 FREMANTLE FOLK FEST TIPS AND INFO. 1. No BYO food or beverage. So many delightful food and beverage offerings available. Water stations provided. Bag checks... at gates. 2. Kids activities wind up around 6pm but more roaming acts continues in to the evening 3. Low back chairs (only), picnic rugs, cushions welcome in main arena. Please leave some space for dancers. 4. Pass outs available to pop in to Freo, drop kids home. 5. Parents please supervise your children, we have HEAPS for them to do but are not babysitters 6. Parking is very limited we suggest public transport, walking, cycling etc. 7. A smoking area will be designated and the front deck of Clancys is also a smoking area. 8. It will be warm during the day so bring a hat and sunscreen. Although the evening may get chilly so dont forget your jumper too. 9. This is a family friendly event so we will be practicing responsible service of alcohol and not tolerating belligerent behavior. 10. We encourage fancy outfits! 11. Artist play times on our website but also available at he door. 12. Make sure you get down early! Great action all day. Gates from 11am and remember pass out available. 13. The main entrance is NOT on the Clancys side of the festival (Cantonment St) It is next to the Big Top on Adelaide St. 14. IMPORTANT! 07.01.2022 We are pleased to announce that Stephen Pigram will be performing at the 2015 Karijini Experience Moonrise lounge on Monday the 4th of May Hailing from Broome i...n Australias far North West Kimberley region, Stephen Pigram Is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist musician playing acoustic guitar, harmonica, ukulele and more. He is one seventh of the Pigram Brothers band whose particular kind of saltwater country music has attracted many fans both in Australia and beyond. Stephen has been a member of legendary Broome bands Kuckles and Scrap Metal, and was Musical Director for the original production of the first Aboriginal musical and recent major Australian film, Bran Nue Dae. Stephen was the Producer and Composer for the Australian film Mad Bastards in 2010. In 2006 Stephen and brother Alan were inducted into the West Australian Music Industry Hall of Fame, the first indigenous artists to receive this honour.
