25.01.2022 Hello Everybody, My final day today at my beloved store. So many wonderful memories keep overwhelming me! The fantastic friendships Ive made are deeply appreciated. Im also a little proud that Ive been able to facilitate many friendships between my customers. Being a place where people could come to make connections was always really important to me. Retreats were also a wonderful way to get together and make new friendships. I will look forward to next years trip I h...ave loved sharing my knowledge of quilting and enjoyed helping you choose that perfect fabric for your quilt. I hope that I can continue to assist you through my online store. Thank you for making my bricks and mortar store such a great place to work in each day. It has been an amazing 15+ years. 25.01.2022 WOW! What a busy few weeks weve had! It has been fantastic to see so many people in the store, many of our regulars and many people weve met for the first time. Thank you so much for dropping in and helping us clear the shelves There are now just 5 more trading days until the door on our Keperra store closes... Starting tomorrow, we will take 50% off all fabric on the bolt! There is still plenty of fabric! I cant believe how much is still there! Come and grab it! Everything else will be 40% off we still have lots of patterns and bag making notions too. Next Friday from 10am until 3pm on our final day we will put the urn on and share a delicious farewell cake or two with anyone who wants to drop by and say one last goodbye

24.01.2022 I have three braid kits available! 2 are very similar to this pink one, but in lavender tones and the other one is as shown, with the border in the 3rd pic. Was $160 now just $80. (8m in each kit) Each kit is for a quilt from the book French Braid Quilts. There is a cutting guide included but the you would need the book for the pattern instructions. 13.01.2022 I am settling into my new home and I’m getting closer to getting the website up. The Shed I hoped to use for awhile was too breezy, so we need to line it! In the meantime my hallway is looking good thank goodness for wide old hallways I shall put some Christmas fabric and Christmas precuts up here on Facebook tomorrow at a special price. 12.01.2022 A quick update on my shop plans, my approval has arrived and I head off to Tassie on Friday! The goodbyes or rather the ‘see you again soons’ are hard. I will miss the fun and friendships I made at The Quilters Corner Once I finish my quarantine and my container arrives I will be able to unpack my stock and get that website up and running. So much to do but it is exciting. Watch this space

12.01.2022 Please grab a cuppa and have a read of the following ... Hello Everyone, It was lovely to see lots of familiar faces during our stocktake sale and a few new ones too. Thank you for your support. The vintage style Sewing Basket was won by Gillian Hoskins. ... My next few paragraphs are proving very difficult to compose. There is just no easy way to say it. I have made a decision in the past few weeks that I must close my bricks and mortar store in Keperra after 15+ years. I shall keep my website going and the new site is due online this week. I have lots of new plans and ideas for my online store and new ways to do classes via an online platform. All Block of the month programs will continue as usual, mailing out at the start of each month. We are taking names for the new Mighty Medallion BOM. Check out our Facebook page later this week. I plan to offer more BOM programs over the next 6 months. Many of you know I have been considering a move to Tasmania and that is now going to happen later this year. I hope to re-open in a new store down there when Im settled. This was a very difficult decision to make and one Ive struggled with for some time . I have decided to go online only, though temporarily, so I now need to clear as much stock as possible from my bricks n mortar store in preparation for my move. Starting on Tuesday 30th June I will have all floor stock reduced by at least 40%. (50cm minimum cut on fabric) If there is 2m + on a bolt and you buy it all it will be 50% off. This will be an in store sale only. I am happy to take phone orders, when time allows, but when the store is very busy the phone may not be answered. Keep your eye on our Facebook page for some specials too. I will be closing by the end of July. Store hours will be 10am - 3pm each day Tuesday to Friday and 10am -1pm Saturday. We can actually have up to eight people in store at any time so long as each person maintains their social distancing. I really do want to thank each and every one of you for supporting me and The Quilters Corner over the past 15 1/2 yrs. It has been a beautiful journey and I have loved every minute of it. I will miss it, no doubt even more than I can imagine. But I am looking forward to the future and having a wonderful adventure in Tasmania. I hope to see many of you sometime in the next few weeks. 11.01.2022 Well, I’ve been so busy packing and sorting my things that I haven’t posted in awhile. My Tassie move is on track and my new website will launch once the fabric arrives down there. I can’t even get to any of it right now Felt a little nostalgic today as the shop counter went to its new home. I will have more info on that in the next post

10.01.2022 Ok, here is my first post of Christmas Fabrics. (Despite some Facebook 'issues' loading photos via my phone) Each precut 5" square pack contains 42 x 5" squares from the range. Normally $22 each but until sold out they will be now $14 each. Message me via Facebook messenger if you want to grab some. I will reply with the amount and my bank details for direct deposit. If you wish to pay via a card I will have to call you and manually put it through the eftpos machine, if so, include your phone number too. In later posts there will be some yardage to accompany these ranges. Perfect for Christmas runners and gifts!
