11.01.2022 We have been quietly stocking up on quality German riesling for a while now & we are very excited to have just received our allocation of 2018 Willi Schaefer wines. A tiny estate, there is only a very small amount of wine made but all of very high quality! 2018 was not quite as good as the exceptional 2017 vintage but there were some exceptions....Willi Schaefer was certainly one of those.

Three of these to sell, all VERY solid (bloody Italians....theyre built to last 200 years) & in great condition. ... Each side fits 20 bottles lying down, 20 plus, depending on size, standing up. 04.01.2022 We are huge fans of La Sirene & always get excited when Costa sends some new brews our way! FOUR new beers including Oak-aged Praline, Dark Element (cacao, coffee & choc stout), Petite Cerise (a classic farmhouse ale, combined with whole sour cherries & organic hibiscus flowers....light & zippy!) & last but not least, Oak Season, which is a blended, barrel-selection of wild ales & fresh farmhouse ales. So good.

04.01.2022 Had a look at the latest offerings from Aphelion this morning. Rob Macks signature acidity cuts through all of his wines, leaving a fresh, vibrant mouthfeel, without losing any of the beautiful, pure fruit that pours out of the glass. So classy are these wines & we are big fans.

02.01.2022 Nova Syrova. Made by our favourite red shirt wearing lug AJ Hoadley at La Violetta. Syrah & friends. A combo that youll have to figure out for yourself! Whole bunch craziness that has wicked acidity, juicy, plump fruit & a Negroni-kinda-thing going on. ... Just goddamm awesome booze.
