21.01.2022 Hi to all our friends. Please stay safe and healthy and we look forward to these hard times coming to an end. All our sincere thoughts Trevor and Rosey. From the Royal

20.01.2022 Hi, spent 2 nights at Hilston, a great little town. They are ok for water so headed off to Ivanhoe.Plenty of gravel and a slow dusty trip. We distributed some water to locals and left approx 40 x10 litres cartons at Wendies servo were they will be distributed as needed. After a very comfy stay headed off to White Cliffs via Willcania. Heaps of gravel but not to bad a drive just dry with dust storms. Arrived White cliffs caravan park were we thought we had organized 2 nights i...n an on site van on the house but my mistake as no on site Vans. They thought we had our own van. Rob the owner said they had a cabin with a bed but no linen or blankets. We were getting worried and Rob rang the motel who kindly put us up for 2 nights on the house .a great relief and gesture from locals. We unloaded approx a150x10 Litre casks and bottles this morning then went site seeing. We arr now empty but go back to Wilcannia tomorrow to collect another load to drop off in Tipa region on way home. Everyone is so appreciative and thanks to all.our g tr I ends who have helped us on these missions. We have let them all know that the people of Wollongong are caring and thinking of them until.the rains come.ironically there may be some water coming down from cyclone Trevor so lets hope they get some of that See more

16.01.2022 MEDIA STATEMENT: Three Rivers Regional Retirement Community Warrumbungle Shire Council continues to work through the issues surrounding the Three Rivers Regional Retirement Community Project in Dunedoo following the termination of the contractor, Boulus Constructions Pty Ltd in August 2018. Regrettably Council made the decision to terminate the contract as a result of ongoing breaches of contract and defective workmanship. Despite being given written directions to rectify def...ects when work failed inspections, the contractor ignored Council directives and continued to build over the top of defects. As a result of the termination of the contract, legal action was initiated by Boulus Constructions Pty Limited and is currently continuing. Council is defending its position vigorously and is of the view that the legal action is unfounded, especially in light of the extent of the defects onsite and breaches of contract. It is very disappointing that at this stage Council is required to keep the unfinished units onsite during this time in the legal proceedings. Regrettably due to the extent of the defects a lot of the work on site will have to be demolished. Extensive discussions have been held with the State and Federal funding bodies and with the committed support of both Mark Coulton MP and Roy Butler MP the remaining projects monies have been retained for future works on the site. Council greatly appreciates the support of both members and their roles in retaining the funding. Council is confident that its legal position is very sound and recently had a briefing from its legal counsel handling the case. It is most disappointing that Boulus has brought this action and held up such a significant project for such an extensive period of time through their actions.

15.01.2022 Gone without understanding, last breath heard and its over. I cant say this will be my last post for a while, but maybe the last of meaning, love you all! Certainly, in the most difficult moments of life you realize who are real friends or people who really appreciate you. Unfortunately, some friends will click on "I like" but in reality they dont take time to read your status if they see its long. I decided to post this message to a very special person for me who fought ...to the end with firmness and energy. Who taught us to live every day as if it were the best day! Who filled the world with a beautiful smile and a sweet spirit. Now I look at those who will have time to read this post until the end (I think Ill guess the first 5). Cancer is very invasive and destructive to our body, even after the end of treatment, your body always fights with yourself trying to rebuild all damage caused by radiation. Its a very long process. (100 % true) Please, in honor of a family member or friend who died, or still fights against cancer, or even had cancer but it is healed; copy and paste (not share) in your page . So Ill know who read my status, please write "done" in the comments See more

13.01.2022 The Royal Dunedoo. Proudly Australian owned and grown

12.01.2022 Hi to all our friends hope everyone had a safe Easter. We were very happy to host a bus group of my previous work colleagues in Wollongong. It Is a long trip and it makes us so happy when we have guests that make the weekend an adventure. I believe it started with a view of Katoomba and the 3 sisters before arriving at the Royal Friday arvo. A bit of a break then off to the Dunedoo hotel for dinner.Saturday morning found everyone off to Wellington caves and mine tour. Rosey ...packed scones jam and cream for a morning tea then returning to the Royal late arvo and Rosey had one of her aftrrnoon teas ready before they headed off to the bowlo. Off to the bowlo for a game of barefoot bowls and a cold southerly breeze the gang settled down to drink the bowlo out of red wine . Not a drop left at the bar. A hot breaky on Sunday and I believe after we waved them off Mudgee wineries and Mudgee brewing was on the urinary. It was a wonderfull weekend with a very warm and friendly group of lovely people. Thanks every one it was great to see you at The Bottom Pub. And thanks Peter Mac for the project Management Trevor and Rosey See more

12.01.2022 Its all happening at Dunedoo this morning. Timber truck out the front and the silos are now used by a local farmer. Bret Yeo. Great to see them being used as for what they were built for. A great tourist attraction as well as being utilized. As the video shows I was going to go up the one man lift but I was toooo heavy 90kilo max. Oh well Ill blame covid. Was told the painting of the silos should start soon. Have a safe day

12.01.2022 Hi everyone. Heading home from a White cliffs delivery. Very dry. We had to cage water up as kangaroos are so hungry they were eating the cardboard cartons then breaking the bladders open. We finished this run off by pulling up at every farm letter box between Wilcannia and Cobar leaving 2 cartons on every box. Hopefully a pleasant surprise when they check their mail
