22.01.2022 To all our wonderful volunteers in light of the Restrictions set today. I have decided that the Salvation Army Christmas lunch to which was going to be held at Rotary Park on Friday 27th November has had been cancelled. It was going to to difficult to organise the food and other requirements in time. At this stage we probably won’t be having it this year as we have to much regarding Christmas events and Christmas hamper distribution to be able to organise another before Christmas. I will try and may be do one early in the new Year. In mean time happy and safe lockdown everyone see you on the other side. Blessings and Cheers all Capt Rob

09.01.2022 To all our wonderful volunteers. In recent days the Salvation Army has introduced a new database system for volunteers that runs through an online program called Workday. This enables us to make sure all information re all our volunteers information, certifications like Integerity checks, working with children checks , training requirements any WHS training requirements that may pertain to certain roles are kept as upto dat as possible keeping our volunteers safe and those... we work with safe. Most of this means if you have supplied an Email you will be notified with any of these areas that you will need to attend to ASAP. We especially think of the integrity checks and Working with children checks. If you have any questions or concerns on this please contact us at the church on 83821600.
