24.01.2022 Dr Kim spent last weekend at the ANZ Invisalign Conference for specialist Orthodontists on the Gold Coast! Invisalign is a vehicle for tooth movement without brackets and wires. We are focused on keeping up to date with new technologies so we can offer our patients the best orthodontic care!

23.01.2022 Orthodontics is not only about making teeth straight but ensuring our patients end up with teeth that require little maintenance long term. This patient had two upper missing front teeth. Rather than replacing the teeth with fake ones, we were able to close the gaps using braces.

17.01.2022 Teething gels that numb the gums are no longer recommended. The Women's and Children's Hospital have stopped selling their teething gel. Please let your friends and family know about this change.

Lucy loves seeing patients through to the end of their treatment when they achieve their perfect smile.In her spare time, Lucy enjoys being creative, making shoes and jewellery. Having had braces in the past, Lucy is happy to answer any queries you may have about braces or any other treatment options.

Having had orthodontic treatment within the last 2 years herself, Jess can easily relate to our patients going through the same process. In her free time Jess enjoys taking part in a volunteer program for her church.

12.01.2022 Today is Teacher's Day! I am so grateful to all the amazing teachers that have been a part of my life. From primary school days, as an 8 year old that did not know a word of English to the Professors at University. It really takes a special person to bring out the best in young people! This is me on my graduation day at The University of Adelaide with Professor Dreyer and Professor Sampson. If you had a special teacher, why not reach out to them today?

06.01.2022 We would like to welcome Marika to our Loxton practice! Marika brings to the Smiling orthodontist 30 years of clinical experience. She graduated as a Dental Therapist in 1987 and spent several years working in School Dental in Adelaide, Arnhem Land and London. Marika has worked in orthodontic practices both in Sydney and Mildura before returning to the Riverland to start a family. Marika will be helping patients with their appointments with a special emphasis on oral hygiene!

05.01.2022 One of our lovely patients Kelsey recently travelled to Cambodia as part of her school trip. We were able to give some Toothpastes for her to share with the children at the village. Kelsey sent these photos of the children who were happy with their small gift! Well done Kelsey!

04.01.2022 Whilst it was nice to catch up with all our patients via TeleHealth during the shut down period - we are now back in the clinic! Thanks to all the lovely patients that introduced me to their pets during TeleHealth (and vice versa)! There are still restrictions in place with respect to some procedures.Thank you for being so understanding! Tash, Lucy, Ruby and I are very happy to be back at work!
