25.01.2022 Possums stripped the Rainbow Chard... And the Kale ...

22.01.2022 New raised garden bed being built and benched chair

22.01.2022 Upon our first visit to St.Kilda Chapel, we realised how special it was, displaying so much history and character! We were initially overwhelmed with the many obstacles we had to overcome to transform this space in what we felt God was guiding us to do. God had given our team a vision which he laid on our hearts. He had prompted our spirits to create a safe space that felt like a home away from home, where people could connect, heal, and have their souls nurtured. A place wh...ere we could pour out Gods love and transform lives. Throughout our journey in transforming The Well at St.Kilda Chapel God showed us his goodness and faithfulness. He worked with us step by step as he became our miracle worker and way maker, continually bringing together community, resources and committed and creative people to join our team and vision. The transformation so far would not have been possible without the support and help of all who have been part of this journey. We sincerely want to thank every single one of you - My Leadership Ministry Team All volunteers; Past and Present The Gardening Team The Pallet Creations Team Melbourne Boys Grammar With One voice choir Penny our donor Salvation Army Warehouse, Tinning street, Brunswick The Salvation Army, Trust and foundation representative and project coordinator, Public Relations, volunteer department and other supportive personnel BunningsPort Melbourne Plant Inspirations nursery Trendy Pads, Braeside. 10.01.2022 Quieter day at The Well on Friday today. Think folk hibernating from the heat. Lovely to see Linda and Miracle

09.01.2022 There was activity and sense of peace at The Well today.. as pallet garden box was built, backdrop to bbq area being tiled and volunteers playing table games and chatting to new people who heard about the place and came. They loved the homely atmosphere, enjoyed the peaceful garden and visited the prayer stations in the chapel. The day concluded at our favourite massage place in Balaclava before heading home Big thanks to Mary, Grace, Selena, Stephen, Ivan, Erhan, Pushpa, Tony, Jodie, Cara, Daphne, Peter and Clunie for coming to Friday @ The Well

09.01.2022 Wherever there is hardship or injustice, Salvos will live, love and fight, alongside others, to transform Australia one life at a time with the love of Jesus. This has been our experience as we at The Well have been journeying alongside Victor over the last few weeks. On 7th June we received an email from Chris who was concerned for a Fb friend who had become homeless living on the streets of South Melbourne and asked if we could reach out and help him.Our team started to p...ray as we went on a search one very cold and wet Tuesday, by a miracle we found him. Thus began our journey alongside Victor and collaborating with so many others. Thanks to Crisis Centre, the Chaplain, Rebecca at Launch housing for putting him up in a motel, Port Melbourne Community Group for food, Sandra from Salvos 614 for the contact for Centre Link, Deb,Community Engagement Officer, to assist with Centre Link payments, Claire my Area Leader, David our Victoria Divisional Commander, for their assistance, Leanne at National Storage unit, and a huge Thank You for amazing sacrifices from my team of volunteers, just too many to mention. To see Hope in the spring of his step today was such a delight. God is definitely using us. We continue to pray for Victor and the many faceless people who find themselves homeless. I keep thinking of the words of his friends email message to us he is just one man lost if we can give Hope to one man lost imagine the ripple affect. A very decent man who through no fault of his own has Suffered incredible hardship through circumstances of Covid . Of all the people his friend could of contacted, he contacted Us at The Well. God works in mysterious ways.
