25.01.2022 Ok, so I've been using these beeswax wraps from @ecoteachercollective and it's official... I'm obsessed! I haven't even felt the need to reach for the cling wrap once! ... So incredibly easy to wash, dry and store! This low-waste journey is just as addicting as my low-tox journey and I'm so excited to make more low-waste switches! I'm saving up for a stash of cloth nappies and wipes next. A big and slightly daunting switch but I'm going to be so relieved once I've finally ditched the disposables! 21.01.2022 Did you know most store bought baby wipes are toxic? The majority of wipes have some nasty ingredients such as phenoxyethanol, parabens, sodium benzoate, the big 'F' word... fragrance, and many more. ... Please don't just take my word for it though. Google the ingredients that are in your wipes and see for yourself! Although there are many great natural wipes on the market I'm yet to find one that is anywhere close to the price of what it costs to make your own! Making your own costs easily half the price of buying them! Making your own literally takes one minute. It's better for your baby, better for the environment and better for your pocket! If you want to try making these yourself I'd love to send you a small sample of the oils and kids bath gel I use and you can see first hand just how simple this is! Just ask!

18.01.2022 Hands up if you're a sucker for a sale It doesn't matter if it's my groceries, online or in-store shopping... I'm beelineing for those sales. I think partly because I buy from op shops so regularly everything new always seems so overpriced So when it comes to my monthly essential rewards orders and I need to stock up on my Young Living products the best part about is that there is no need to hunt by sales or search products in order or cheapest to most expensive becaus...e instead I get EVERYTHING discounted already and I get loads of freebies simply for grabbing my order! 18.01.2022 Do you make your own gifts for your friends and family?... I've always thought it is way more meaningful giving a gift that has been handmade with a special person in mind and that's what I love about making up pretty, natural and non-toxic products! It's so easy to just pop into the shop and pick up a perfume, some bath salts, lip balms or whatever of the shelf that not only can cost an arm and a leg, it is nearly always filled with ingredients that is harmful for this friend you're buying for. Don't believe me? Take a look at the ingredients list on your products in your bathroom, under your sink and in your cabinets. Take the time to Google the ingredients... It's scary stuff! Your products don't list the ingredients?... Run! There is a usually a reason why companies don't list their ingredients. They don't want you to find out Making up these bath salts, under eye roller, head tension roller and perfume took me about 10 minutes and cost me around $10. The plant, the gypsy wagon, the magnifying glass, the fact that it's my grandparents place and I have so many treasured memories there or simply just because the two most darling nearly 2 and 3 year olds are looking so sweet and innocent staring out of the window together. 08.01.2022 Lexi has been obsessed with her @minilanddollsaus ever since getting one for her first birthday so the other day when we went into @thesmallfolk she of course was drawn to the dolls and carried this beautiful doll around for the remainder of our shop.... I'm absolutely in love with the fact that Lexi is not just playing with dolls that have the exact same colour skin as she does. I pray that these little things will help her grow into a woman who is loving of all, not just those who look like her. Someone who see's beneath the colour of skin, background, status and beliefs. 05.01.2022 ? Diluting my Young Living products make it much more cost effective and makes products last months! I always dilute my Thieves products, this dish soap is no exception! It takes me nearly no time at all and is so worthwhile! ... All it takes is filling the empty bottle one third of the way, topping it up with water, adding any desired essential oils and shaking it! Being a slightly more watery consistency does not mean you have to use lots... Young Living products are so concentrated you only ever mneed a small amount! In my opinion, the best thing is about this dish soap is that because it is all natural and doesn't go super bubbly and sudsy I don't have to take the time to rinse the dishes after washing them... and it doesn't annoy me when my hubby doesn't rinse either! So he can wash up whenever his heart desires See more
