Samantha and I are so proud of the little successes we have been able to help each and every one of our small businesses achieve. Whether its one extra LIKE or one extra wholesaler. Whether it is one conversation around who THEY are with a potential customer, which carries on for them to convert later... Or even just the people we chat to and have the pleasure of discovering every damn day - we had a vision for thi...s space and we are smashing that glass ceiling. We are passionate in supporting like minded handmade and small business in our region who have out grown their markets or who are looking for a little alternative exposure. We have learnt so much about ourselves and each other and have been privileged enough to tell the stories of so many incredible artists and makers from our own home. A thank you for the leasing team at Clifford Gardens Shopping Centre - Christina and George/Peter/Chris/Kevin for offering us the space... We are NOT done yet... The community getting behind us is absolutely priceless. The fellow staff and shop owners in the centre have been incredibly supportive. Gill is my fav though... That morning coffee ignites my soul! These sold out in two days last time and people were continuing to request them despite not being able to have any available. Sam is no longer at the front table but on the left as you enter. All candles now come boxed and labelled - quite professional really. ... One thing @the.handmadecollective has proven to all us makers is that in a sea of big box retailers, mass produced manufacturing and cheaper inferior imported products ours stand out an absolute cut above for quality and the experience you have when using our products. With @kmartaus at one end and @targetaus at the other. With all the biggest global brands in between, we are worth our weight in gold. We believe in our makers, artisans and creatives.
