22.01.2022 We have just had these Carbon lined Syncro's arrive from our friends at Verus Engineering and i can't wait to get them fitted up to the next gearbox we do the 4th gear mod to. Hopefully it helps with the 1st to 2nd engagement when the box is cold.

21.01.2022 Here is a job that was a bit different, a racecar with a secondary fuel tank where the connectors between the two tanks were leaking. The tank adaptors used were made from Stainless Steel and warped quite a bit when they where welded as you can see. So I machined up some aluminum billet flanges instead. Fuel leak fixed.

19.01.2022 I don't consider myself to be a race car driver, but I do enjoy getting out on the track, and having a drive of our track builds really helps me work out where we can continue to improve on them. During this quiet period we've focused very heavily on development & testing, and despite having done almost no laps in the #1 since we started building it a few years ago, I'm really happy with how it drives (even though i don't really fit in the car) and thoroughly enjoyed this test session. 15.01.2022 We had a successful test day at Norwell further lowering the lap record on the first outing after some major changes. Now the final touches are being done before the car leaves for Townsville.

11.01.2022 Full house today, we have everything from racecar prep to turbo kit installs, header and tune upgrades, general servicing and we even 2 Wrx's in for some serving and brakes.

10.01.2022 So yesterday Andrew & Holly headed to Norwell for some Bathurst practice in our race car, but we decided to try something a bit different which our sprint/Time Attack customers might find interesting. Due to chewing through almost the whole tyre bank we had, instead of buying new tyres, I put the Nexens off my road car on to see how they performed - keeping in mind that mine are fairly well used with lots of heat cycles and near the end of their life. Andrew managed to set ...another lap record/PB, and Holly managed to find 1.6 seconds on her PB which was set on fairly fresh race tyres. For a tyre that is not only quick on track but street legal to drive to and from the track (and to work everyday), these are hard to go past

09.01.2022 What a fantastic first hard run for the year leading up to round 1 of the QPC championship.

09.01.2022 Here is our in house test rig owned by John Shaw and piloted by Troy and set up and run by the86shop. The car is a 2013 BRZ with UEL headers and full exhaust system, E85 tune by the one and only Joel Zim, MCA red series shocks with in house spring settings, The86shop oil catch can system, cold air intake and oil cooler kit. The86shop harness bar for safety and 4.5 final drive. This car is still NA and uses one of our in house developed can tune that we sell to anyone for just $150 and it beat two FI cars on the day by over 6 tenths of a second. Last but not least the tyres on the day where 18 month old Nexen SUR4G's that came off Themistoklis Barimis car that was taken off as they are down the wear indicators and we used them just to evaluate a new set up change. So up next will be a fresh set of tyres and 61's here we come.

05.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS to Tim with his 86 making 400RWKW @ only 16 psi and yes you read that right. The car was tuned at Motec Queensland on there hub dyno. We have a had a long running association with Tim and his 86. The car runs a 13.5 - 1 comp short motor designed and built by the86shop. ... Full custom fuel system manufacted and installed by us. Coyoda Turbo kit fitted with a Garrett G25-660 turbo and a custom heat exchanger made by us also. Topping it off with our FI oil catch cans. We have been waiting for some time for this build to come together as we have been confident that we could do a high comp build and make awesome power at low boost with the FA20 platform. We have the sister engine to this ready to go together right now and it will have a dry sump system we have also designed in house, this is going to only be a 300 RWKW engine but will be using only 12-13 psi and will be punished hard at the track.
