22.01.2022 Hello AcroMonkeys!!! It’s been a long time since we have posted any news or stories on this page. We have certainly missed all of you and hope you are all doing well during these tougher than usual times. ... Firstly I’d like to say that both Monique Gilbert and I are doing well and if you haven’t heard we are now engaged! The purpose of this post is to let you know that Mon and I will be opening up some time for private lessons for couples/groups wanting to work on skills, drills and Acro thrills! We miss the studio, hosting classes and open training. Though now we can bring our passion and fun to you. What’s on offer. Mon and myself teaching Acro to like minded Acro enthusiasts wanting to improve your skills and techniques. Every session will be with the couple or groups interests in mind. Whether you are new to this adventure and wish to learn the basics or have a couple of years of training behind you, I’m sure we can help you improve. We can supply some matting for your reassurance and teach safe exits from moves. Spotting will be provided during the sessions also. Whilst having both of us there you are also provided with both the base and flyers eyes and perspectives to learn from. 11.01.2022 To The Acro Studio members, students and friends. It is with a heavy heart we inform you that The Acro Studio is now closed. Our lease has ended and with COVID forcing our closure the past few months we have been unable to continue. We would like to thank all of our students, friends and the amazing teachers that came through our studio and made some fantastic memories within these walls. ... As teachers, we witnessed some truly amazing progress with our students. As students, we learnt from some of the best teachers that came and hosted workshops here. Most of all, we have made lasting friendships with many truly special people along the way. We are appreciative of everyone’s support over the past 2 years, and we apologise we couldn’t have a farewell due to government regulations. We hope we can welcome you at a new location in the future. A massive thank you, Chris and Mon. xx
