21.01.2022 The Bolwell Flyer each bike is a collaboration where the owner can specify the details, each objective and each persons needs unique. Many people order 2nd, 3...rd and 4th bikes as they know they can up the anti with each one and have a bike for different use, like for example one for Monday’s, one for Wednesday’s and a weekender. The in house manufacturing capabilities we have and effort that goes into the details allows so much personality in each bike. All refined and designed to be seriously ridden, raced, toured, long distance challenges or just a casual rider, tuned for your riding nuance. This one has light weight aluminium rims, spade end moustache bars with native Australian redgum handles and double steps. Finished in a pearl British racing green that absorbs and reflect the light it’s in, nickel plated finish on the bottom of the forks, the steps, rear fork and handlebars, copper plated hubs, tan integrated hammock saddle and extensive and detailed hand painted scroll art work. We have quite the team operating these days with Velocraft - Bikes doing the finish and TJ Sign Art & Pinstriping doing the hand painted artwork. What will you choose? 06.01.2022 Bringing classic back. With a modern twist. Thank you Peter! This is a bike that can tell some tales. COVID-19 has affected every stage of its build. From the ...weekend Peter flew over from Perth to visit us and have his bike fit as well as go to the F1 Grand Prix... we all know what happened there. To the week it was ready to be assembled and Melbourne going into Stage 4 lockdown. Numerous little things have happened since then, but it is ready! And it looks damn fine if you ask me. So many little touches. Literally the chain, cassette, hubs and bearings are the only parts that haven’t been customised in some way. Massive thanks to our Melbourne Village of bikesmiths @riderfitcc @velo_craft @busymanbicycles @curvecycling and @shifterbikes for helping to bring it together. A bike that Melbourne built and COVID couldn’t stop.

Unlike candy the pear...l reflects the light so from some angles the tubes appear to be a solid metallic and from others the weave shines through. Paired with an ENVE Composites Fork and THM Cockpit treated in the same way this is the ultimate chassis just waiting for our Partners at Cycle Store Zurich to build it up. Looking forward to seeing it against the backdrop of the Swiss Alps.

04.01.2022 TEXTURE. Design is more than just form and function. Good design also makes you want to reach out and touch it. Run your fingers over its curves and surfaces. T...o feel its texture. Texture forms an integral part of our Design DNA. It is something we often talk about during development. Yet I believe we are just at the beginning of our exploration. This build is a perfect example. The customer encouraged us to leave the lugs RAW and we were super excited as it is something we have often talked about and wanted to do. The result is beautiful in a brutal industrial sense. And it is so different to other bikes. It draws your eyes in closer, makes you two finger zoom on your phone, entices you to reach out and touch it in person. So thank you Ketil and TSC Oslo for allowing us to explore!
