22.01.2022 In the recent school holidays, The Adam Crouch Foundation partially funded over 90 children's, Penguin Level, swimming lessons, with around half of them being new enrolments. Swimming and water safety are skills for life. This school term, as in past years, the Foundation is providing Water Safety information sessions throughout pre-schools in the Blue Mountains. This spring, make the time to check your pool fencing and gates are compliant and in good working order and always supervise children whilst in or around the pool area. Also ensure access cannot be gained to the pool area via climbing of trees, play equipment or outdoor furniture. Swimming is fun, but above all, keep it safe and help to " SAVE PRECIOUS LIVES FROM DROWNING".

21.01.2022 The Adam Crouch Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that was established in 2010 in loving memory of the Crouch family’s third child Adam, who tragically drowned in a friend’s backyard pool on the 12th October 2007. During the 2018 October school holidays, for the FOURTH year in a row, The Adam Crouch Foundation partnered with Blue Mountains Leisure centres to help fund swimming lessons for children in the ‘Penguin’ level. Children in this level are usually aged betwe...en 3 and 5 years and the Foundation funds these lessons to encourage families with young children to attend swimming lessons as due to their age and time of year are at high risk of drowning or suffering a near drowning incident. The discounted lessons saw nearly SEVENTY first time attendees and around THIRTY repeat attendances. We choose to supply these lessons in October as The Adam Crouch Foundation simply wants to make it easier for young children and their parents to learn how to be confident and safe in and around the water during the upcoming Summer swimming season. Please visit www.adamcrouchfoundation.org.au to read statistics on child drownings and see what an unfortunate part of Australia’s lifestyle they are, plus see a few photos of ADAM. If you would like to help the Foundation continue to provide these discounted lessons, year after year, you can go to the Donations tab on the website and pledge your support. The Adam Crouch Foundation wishes all its facebook followers a happy and safe Christmas holiday season. Save Precious Lives From Drowning

01.01.2022 This Spring, as in past years, The Adam Crouch Foundation will be funding a Water Safety Awareness Program aimed at teaching children of pre-school age about enjoying water activities safely. Pre-schools throughout the Blue Mountains will be visited during Term 4 by accredited Austswim instructor, Rebecca Little. By funding these pre-school sessions over the last few years, and for many years to come, The Adam Crouch Foundation is committed to SAVE PRECIOUS LIVES FROM DROWNING.
