24.01.2022 One of my favourite quotes of all time. Happy New Year Everyone, I’ve had some fantastic adventures out on the trails this year, my happy place - can’t wait for more :) #adventureproject2020
24.01.2022 other ways to help those impacted by the tragic bushfires is to support local businesses in those areas, this is a great initiative as well as a page set up on instagram #spendwiththem , both are already making a big difference so if you are looking for other ways to help then consider these fantastic initiatives #buyfromthebush #spendwiththem... #adventureprojectoz
11.01.2022 Back on the trail today! I’m sure many of us have felt a bit stir crazy not being able to access the trails so often this Summer, I’m also recovering from Plantar Fasciitis so I’m walking rather than running at the moment. It was great to just get out there, the trail from... Seaforth Oval around Bantry Bay actually links you with the Great North Walk so you can go as far as you want! It’s a technical trail, some fun clambering up and down so allow plenty of time and take plenty of fluid and snacks! #bantrybaySydney #sydneysbesttrails #adventureproject2020
08.01.2022 It’s so great to see realistic and empowering marketing of women doing great stuff in the outdoors. Well done @deuter for getting it right. I’ve seen so many pictures, photos and marketing campaigns that get it just so wrong quite frankly. I find a lot of it patronising, unrealistic and not every woman wants to wear pink These are the best marketing photos I’ve seen for women’s outdoor gear, they really stand out. ... Come and check out the best gear and staff in the industry @trek_and_travel #testedinthewild #getoutdoormore #womenempowerment #adventureprojectoz @ Trek & Travel
06.01.2022 I love this article, it’s fascinating how women are performing in ultra endurance events, it’s a niche sport but women are beating men in there races. For me I believe it’s a lot around the attitude, the article talks about these women embracing the freedom of these events, it’s not all about the struggle, fight and battle, which does get a bit tedious listening to over and over again. I think women can also let go of their egos more easily, something I’ve seen amongst my f...riends as we get older, we learn to train smarter not necessarily harder, we can just do events to have fun and for the social element. This is not men-bashing either, just some observations, a brilliant article by The Guardian https://www.theguardian.com//female-ultra-athletes-leading
