25.01.2022 We’ve decided we’re tired of sleeping in and doing whatever we wanted in a clean house Our beautiful and healthy baby is due to join us on the Earth side at the end of July. I’m beyond happy and absolutely terrified We’re as much out of the danger zone as one can be, having gone through the genetic testing for chromosome abnormalities and a full on MOT structural scan - measuring all of the organs, looking at the spine and brain. The baby is healthy and strong, but I st...ill feel I need to pinch myself to believe I’m not dreaming. Having suffered multiple miscarriages in the past, it’s nearly impossible to take any part of what is currently happening in my body for granted. Being a high risk pregnancy (ticking practically all the risk boxes - my age, history of pregnancy loss and no successful pregnancies before) means that I was able to receive an early scan and see our little Berry (nick name until there’s an actual name), its tiny little miraculous heart happily beating away a few weeks ago, at 8 weeks. Tears were streaming down both of our faces (Andy’s and mine, don’t think the little one was that impressed) and between moments of awe, uncontrollable laughter of disbelief and tears of relief and joy, I think I have felt every single emotion possible. We’ve met twice since, and today, we’re officially out of the first trimester (horrible 24/7 sickness, exhaustion, low blood pressure dizziness are almost entirely gone now!). For now, I’m taking this one day at the time... Not overthinking. There’s no controlling life. All we can do is surrender to the flow and trust the universe. 22.01.2022 A love letter : Thank you. For being here. You are the light of my life. I love you beyond words.... I’ll never leave you. I’ll never betray you. I will nurture your heart as the most precious thing I have ever experienced. I will listen to you. I will respond without judgment. I’ll make sure you know that you are whole & enough, just as you are. I’ll worship your body & witness your soul in ecstasy, as I am in reverence to get to share that with you. I’ll devour you. I’ll make sure that you know that you are desired. I will show up. Again & again & again Even on the days that are hardest for me to do so. I’ll be there for you when you are down. I’ll catch your tears as they fall & tell you that it’s ok to cry & feel & be human. I’ll uplift you. I’ll support your dreams & work towards them with you, enjoying every step along the way. I’ll love you. I’ll love you so hard that there is no doubt in any fiber of your being that you are loved. - a love letter to myself. 15.01.2022 :: S A T Y A:: Day two of #everybodyyogachallenge bring us Satya, Truthfulness. The second Yama is intimately connected with Ahimsa, because it builds on the premise that dishonesty is a form of harm, but also that our truth should not cause harm. Satya teaches us not to lie to others or to ourselves. But, the truth does not exist in a vacuum and there are many levels of moral relativity that often cloud our judgement about it. For example, we can speak the truth without lo...ve or kindness. In doing so, we weaponize the truth for personal vindication instead of maximizing the impact of truth as liberation. Sometimes when people say that they are going to share their truth what is really happening is that they are going on a personal emotional rant without boundaries. Sharing the truth may in fact be quite different than just vomiting up whatever bothers you at the time. Sharing your truth should always build on the premise of Ahimsa. Is it true? Is it necessary (not just to make me feel better)? Is it kind? My truth is a constant discovery. Years ago I didn’t even know where to look. Suited, booted, flying around from one client meeting to another. Unhappy, but feeling I can’t give that up, I cannot let that go... the moment I’ve taught my first yoga class felt like fully breathing for the first time. I knew it was what I was meant to do. I knew I felt my dharma. There was no going back. Once you’ve felt you’re truth, no matter how uncomfortable it feels at the time, there’s no way to un-feel it. #yogachallenge #yogaoxford #oxfordyoga #yogaoxfordshire #yogajourney #yogaeverydamnday #yogainspiration #yogalove #yogagirl #yogapractice #yogini #yogaeverywhere #yogalife #igyoga #patanjali #satya #yogasydney #yoganorthshore #mosman

14.01.2022 A fabulous new memory made... this unforgettable trip included swimming in a secret waterfall, a visit to a beautiful Rainbow temple, exploring a cave lit up with thousands of glow worms, listening to indigenous instruments (native to South America), while bats happily chatted above our heads, in the darkness. Magic is everywhere, all it takes is an intention to notice. @riseup.collective . .... . . #sustainableliving #oneplanet #noplanetb #magicalcreatures #magicalmoments #byronbaylife #happydays #rainbowtemple #weareone #secretplaces #yogateacherslife #lifeofayogateacher #lifeofayogi See more

10.01.2022 ::C O N T E N T M E N T:: Last day - day 5 - #everybodyyogachallenge Santosha means contentment or satisfaction. It's the yogi's secret to happiness. Yoga teaches us to accept where we are even when we try to change things for better. Santosha doesn't mean idly sitting back and relinquishing the need to do anything. It simply means accepting and appreciating what we have and what we are already, and moving forwards from there. This whole year has been a practice of Sanotsha f...or me. Loss, lockdown, uncertainty, illness. I'm here. How can I be satisfied without all my friends to have a coffee with, without teaching all the classes (20+ a week is now down to 3), with the discomfort an anxiety watching what’s going to happen with the world. And yet I’m feeling content, in so many ways. It’s like in my heart, there’s an eye of the storm, peaceful and steady. Yoga is a practice. On the mat and off the mat. 04.01.2022 ::T A P A S:: Discipline Day 3 of @everybody_studio #everybodyyogachallenge bring us discipline. Calls for discipline can be unpopular, and even thought of as negative. In our free-thinking culture many people dislike the idea of following the rules. I like to think of myself as free, untamed, wild in the ways that I pursue life, and yet there’s that part of me that’s disciplined, a part of me that is committed. In the yoga practice there is a long history of disciplined ap...proach to spiritual practice. Called Tapas in Sanskrit, the need for discipline is discussed in all traditional forms of yoga practice. Sometimes Tapas can be translated as austerities, which can be even more intimidating. A softer translation define Tapas as the acceptance of those difficulties that lead to spiritual growth. I love this definition because often I see students using the idea of discipline as an excuse to practice with harshness and severity, and even turn the practice into a kind of penance. But, yoga is rooted in the path of love and balance and extreme hardship is not the way. On the other hand if practice is too easy, it won’t be able to teach you about the depths of yourself. Discipline, and in fact anything else in the yoga practice actually comes from love. I’ve been struggling to enjoy my energetic practice recently. After a miscarriage, followed by shingles, and a chest infection combined with asthma, my body is simply not up for it. And that’s ok, as long as we show up to our practice. Today I intended on doing an energetic flow, but my body wasn’t in agreement. Instead I took a wonderfully soothing and calming, heart opening class with @denise_sorrell and it was such a deep, loving experience. Sometimes the discipline needed it to tell your ego to calm down and let your yoga practice be exactly what your soul needs. . #yogachallenge #yogaoxford #oxfordyoga #yogaoxfordshire #yogajourney #yogaeverydamnday #yogainspiration #yogalove #yogagirl #patanjaliyogasutras #yogasutras #yogasydney #discipline

02.01.2022 ::C O U N T R Y S I D E:: (and big news!) My happy place. Most of my life I have spent in a city. Born & raised in Gdansk (a beautiful coastal city in the north of Poland), studied in Warsaw, moved to U.K. and settled in Oxford. The last 8 months I’ve spent in Sydney. I love the city but for a while have been feeling a strong pull to move to the country side and decided to move to Devon (or East Cornwall) on our return to U.K. in March 2021. I’ll still maintain my connections... with Oxford, probably teaching on a monthly basis, but my plans are now focusing on creating something new, something that will serve all of you in a different way. For now, please stay tuned. I miss you and love you all xx Ps. If you’re a yogi based in the south Devon/ east/south Cornwall please DMWould love to start creating new connections in that beautiful part of the country. . #practiceyoga #yogateacher #yogajourney #yogaeverydamnday #yogainspiration #yogalove #yogapractice #yogini #yogaeverywhere #yogapose #yogalife #igyoga #practiceandalliscoming #instayoga #yogalover #yogagram #strongisthenewsexy #meditation #yogisofinstagram #yogaforbeginners #powerflow #oxfordlife #yogaoxford #oxfordshireyoga #devonyoga #yogaplymouth #natureismychurch #cornwallyoga
