Achillea Millefolium ... plant ally & gift to humanity she is found in the firm of flower essences, herbal medicines & essential oils ... at last I have found a space in my garden in which she is happy ... she doesn’t like wet feet or heavy soil ... and as my soil is 99.9% clay she has struggled, or become critically ill & died in every other place I’ve tried to cultivate her despite soil amendments & clay remediation ... This spot is NE facing and protected from ...the worst of the drenching summer storms by the house ... I dug out 2ft of clay + shale here & replaced the soil with loam & compost ... so crossing my fingers that she will thrive ... she will be transformed into flower elixirs, herbal medicines, compost activator & BD Preps ... and her beautiful blooms will grace my bedside table ... so much magic & majesty in one herb ... I’m calling ALL of us to step up into leadership & BE the kindness, compassion, patience, grace or gratitude story for someone else, every day in the days to come ... to do the simple, soulful things that are the difference that makes the difference for others ... Beautiful poetry of courage, loyalty & solidarity. Everyday... ordinary people rising to the occasion with grace, generosity & humour ... This isn’t about being flakey & full of fake glittery everything is wonderful delusion, because right now we all face an unprecedented challenge. We all need to be flexible, wise, prudent, grounded & sober. But we also need to remember & centre ourselves in our heart & in the deep abiding knowledge that the vast majority of people are GOOD. So this flooding of humanity rising & humanity awakening & humanity shining is more of an antidote & a buffer to the relentless drama & hysteria that the MSM will perpetuate in the days & weeks, possibly months to come as Covid plays itself out on the world stage. It’s too easy if you tune into MSM news & all the Socials to get drawn into fear, worry & anxiety & tune out of your own inner knowing & heart space. Right NOW in every neighbourhood, people are sharing, looking out for each other, checking in and coming together - as we ALWAYS do, it’s the Australian way. We just need to remember this.
