16.01.2022 Congratulations to all the CQUni research teams that secured about $2.2 million in fresh federal funding for research into workplace health, artificial intelligence and the mental health of Indigenous adolescents thanks to the latest ARC grants. Specific acknowledgements to both of the Appleton Institute teams led by: A/Prof. Charli Sargent, who was awarded $589,890 over four years to research the impact of light intensity during night shifts on circadian adaptation, and... A/Prof. Anjum Naweed, who was awarded $424 829 to generate knowledge about designing jobs with the right amount of human movement.

08.01.2022 Researchers at CQUniversity's Appleton Institute are seeking volunteers to participate in a survey to discover whether various research-based strategies to optimise performance upon waking are practical and effective for emergency service workers. We are looking for current Australian emergency service workers or volunteers with on-call and/or shift-working arrangements to participate in an anonymous online survey that will take about 15 minutes to complete.
