Amazing quality, an exceptional level of detail, strength of colour and extremely fine registration. These guys really knew what they were doing even though it was probably only the second book ever printed in Europe. 13.01.2022 Solid advice. This card for @brandbyname was done completely using the letterpress process, no cheating using offset. Yellow is one of the very few colours that prints a nice rich solid using letterpress. Reason being, yellow is quite a soft ink with extremely fine pigment. The downside to printing any solid via letterpress is that it slightly negates any visible evidence of the letterpress process unless it is backed up by some sharp linework which can bite into the stock. #letterpress #letterpressbusinesscards #businesscard #solid #solidcolor #colorflood #bjballpapers

The same model press my printing journey began with printing 7" record covers over 30 years ago. Time flies when youre having fun.
