Getting to know yourself in a deep way is important. Knowing your personality is a gateway to understanding so much about yourself. Knowing if youre an empath can help you to put tools in place for protecting your emotions and energy. Getting to know your communication style is a key factor in knowing how to interact with those around you, and how you prefer others to communicate with you. Tuning into and getting familiar with our menstrual cycle is a female mental health game changer. Getting in touch with ourselves and learning to work with ourselves and our unique flavour, instead of against ourselves, allows us more truth, peace and joy. This program is a synthesis of the most effective processes, exercises and tools that Ive learnt throughout my professional work, and personal experience. 21.01.2022 How often do you want to share something about yourself, but dont? How often are you scared of being your true self? How often are you shrinking into a quieter, nicer, more likeable version? How often do you picture the people wholl see your sharing and what theyll say about it?... Before I started opening up about who I really am to those around me, including my community on this platform, I was scared about other peoples opinions. Now its one of the things I love most about this platform. Sharing the things that Ive hidden for years, and connecting with other people about them. The truth is: That person that youre afraid of watching you is either secretly or openly inspired by watching you do your thing, or they really dont notice you doing your thing (ahhh the freedom). And, if theyre triggered by you doing your thing and shining your light? Its not your responsibility how good is that! With every ONE person that makes a judgemental comment (side note - be kind and try not to do that guys) about you living your truth, there will be at least ONE HUNDRED others who are inspired AF by your strength and authenticity. I can guarantee that you showing your bravery will inspire other brave + true actions, tenfold. 20.01.2022 Big hearted words from my last workshop ~ supporting women to tap into their vision and make it happen And now today, we have two big questions. What is your vision, and how will you show up for it? The reality of your vision will show up, when you show up for it. ... And were not just talking about grand gestures and huge life changes. We dont need perfect people. We need people making a choice to show up, like you have today, right? To practice kindness to themselves, eachother, and Mumma earth. Does your vision see you speaking to yourself a little differently? Connecting with other beautiful people or helping someone who feels lost? Will you make a pact to have less screen time? Will you invest in your wellbeing a little more, rather than the clothes you wear? Will you try to minimise your waste or educate others in how to do so? Will you dedicate your time and money to those less fortunate? Will you find time to be in nature, eat well, find quiet time, and exercise in a way that you actually enjoy? Will you hold your tongue when you want to hurt someone, and speak only when you want to create change? Will you remain hopeful when it seems all hope is lost? 14.01.2022 Saturday was a career highlight it was my tenth workshop through The Art of Insight and gosh was it a special one. There was so many laughs, tears, huge, breakthroughs and most of all, kindness. Kindness shown for ourselves, our loved ones and our Earth. @julia.hogarth and I raised $1200 for the bushfire relief efforts by @redcrossau, and had a beautiful time doing so. Thank you to everyone that came along with an open heart, we just adore you to @_the_ko_ studio who donated their space to us so that we could donate more money, thank you! 12.01.2022 It would be nice to feel nice all the time, but its just not how it goes. And in a way, thats a real blessing. If were expecting ourselves and the people around us to be positive vibes all the time and push back against emotion, were doing a disservice. Theres so much to be learnt from the times of lull, the tension, the sadness and the anxt. Without the down time to integrate lessons learnt, face ourselves and process everything that is our life, wed be missi...ng out on ALOT. The sooner we encourage ourselves and those around us to lean gently into how theyre ACTUALLY feeling in times of hurt, frustration, stress or anger, the sooner we can move through things together and come out the other side: to JOY. And, heres the kicker. Everytime our joy is affected by other emotions, this leaning in will get easier. Well beat ourselves up a little less. Well take positive vibes only shit from people a little less. Well forgive ourselves and feel ashamed a little less. Well remember each time that were human miracles and that the small moments of shame, embarrassment, guilt etc do NOT define us. Joy is so great and something to be celebrated wholesomely. But, the only constant is change and there will be emotions that rise whether we like it or not. The only thing we can control is how we react to them. So to start with, lets lean in. See more

When I use the word trauma, I talk here about the often... debilitating symptoms that many people suffer from in the aftermath of perceived life-threatening or overwhelming experiences. - Dr. Peter Levine . One of the most important things to know about trauma is that people, especially children, can be overwhelmed by what we tend to think of as common everyday events. Trauma is VERY common . If you experience any of the symptoms mentioned in the post above remember -you are normal!Your body is reacting normally to the perception of danger. It is doing so to keep you safe. These adaptations are millions of years old and ensured humans long ago could escape from threats . 04.01.2022 Enrolments for Mind Rising close in SIX HOURS A final passage for you as the launch comes to an end Im a part of a mind cycle, and I possibly always will be. But rather than over analysing and intellectualising this experience of mine, I prefer to accept and live in it. Let it move through me how it needs to.... Living in my own mental health journey is like making friends with a prickly person that just wants to be loved. Im travelling to the darker places within myself than I ever have before, but its safe to now than its ever been. And this happens to me. I experience weeks and months of energy and happiness and then I go deeper. I cry, I develop even more empathy for those around me and I change. I process things, I question bullshit that Ive been fed. I allow myself to experience emotion. I feel these feelings and rather than pushing against them in a system that is CONSTANTLY asking that we be happy and busy and okay, I let myself sit with them and move through them. And I see you, beautiful people. I see some of you experiencing the exact same thing. There is no need to save us from our mental health experience, just an opportunity to hold space for those that you love. Because we are learning the tools to manage. Things can get hard, and thats okay. Happy people can be sad, and thats okay. Its important that I touch on this real talk because I can physically see and FEEL the others out there feeling the exact same way. I fucking see you and worship you because you are WARRIORS. In a world that has conditioned people to feel a sense of discomfort even reading these words, you are fighting the good fight and acknowledging your beauty in even your darkest times. To all of the people at war with their minds. I see you, I acknowledge your hurt, I bow down to your strength and I hold space for you in your suffering.
