Seeing all of the amazing entries and selecting works for the Hospital's collection, it was a huge day and I'd like to thank ...our judging panel who took time out of their busy schedules to help. We had representation from Office of the Children's Guardian, Art Gallery of New South Wales, The Arts Unit and Bear Cottage on hand to help us. 08.01.2022 'Ngurambang: district, country, home', showing now at Wagga Wagga Art Gallery, is an innovative exhibition from regional students participating in the HOME Program. Student artists from Yerong Creek Public School, Gundagai South Public School, Ashmont Public School, Kapooka Public School, Quandialla Public School, Gundagai Public School and Temora Public School have worked incredibly hard. Check out some photos from their exhibition! Over 3 terms, the 2020 program utilised... online learning platforms such as YouTube Live, Google Sites and video resources where face to face learning was not possible. Students learnt about Wiradjuri artists and their work and explored ideas of what home means for them through their own creative art making. A selection of the work produced culminates in the Ngurambang exhibition.
