25.01.2022 One of my clients has a new meal plan, from a dietitian, with strict instructions on eating more regularly but must be high protein and high calorie. After spending an hour with him Friday night, we had worked out a meal plan that both matched his tastes and meets all the requirements from the dietitian. So all this is for the week. White chocolate custard, chicken stroganoff with high protein red lentil pasta, home made baked beans with bacon, choc peanut and almond coffee protein balls, Chicken Caesar Salad with homemade dressing, sweet and salty mixed nuts, Pulled Pork and White Choc and Raspberry Cheesecake.

24.01.2022 Wow what a week! I feel like I have been shopping all week, (apart from when I was cooking) trying to find supplies, not just for myself but my clients as well. I hope certainly everyone has what they need. This week's meals have been curried sausages, cheesy chicken, slow roasted beef and veg, honey pepper steak and veg, banoffee pie, devilled sausages, chicken snitz and veg, Caesar salad, sweet and salty nuts and a caramel slice (no photo). Now I'm off to bake a birthday cake. Xo

22.01.2022 Still cooking, lots of pies (curry, Shepard's, plain, bacon cheese & tomato, honey mustard chicken and chicken, bacon and mushroom) and sausage rolls (normal, chicken bacon and cheese and lamb and herbs) and then Thai Green Curry with coconut and kaffir lime rice. Spending more time at home means trialing new recipes, stay tuned for new ideas. Xo

20.01.2022 Another big day today, clients cookup Girello Roast with roasted potatoes, pumpkins, parsnips and pea and beans plus KFC chicken with mashed potatoes with onion, bacon and cheese in it, peas and beans, there was also a side of gravy. Rhubarb and Apple Pie, and with the left over pastry a black forrest tart. And some salt and vinegar chips, OMG these are the bomb, we were given a recipe and I just had to try, it's a bit of a process but so much better than just adding vinegar on top.

19.01.2022 Someone is going to have some yummy lunches this week. Thai Green Curry with home made curry paste and coconut and kaffir lime rice, Singapore Noodles, double choc chip biscuits and cranberry and white choc biscuits and mango and white choc chip muffins.

19.01.2022 Tonight we went on a virtual trip to Jamaica. And I might have got the "Jamaica we have a bobsled team" stuck in my head A pork stew, which is sweet and a little spicy (although we have tonned down the heat for the kids), coconut rice and pineapple and cucumber salad, which I wasn't allowed to put onion or chilli on, kids request. Kids loved it, adults could have added more heat but tastes great. Let's see where we travel next, kids have put in quite a few requests for this week before they FINALLY head back to school.

11.01.2022 Most of this week will be spent shopping and then cooking for clients and and trying to make sure they always have at least 14 days of meals just in case I get sick. I am always very mindful that a small virus or cold for me may not be a little thing for those I cook for but with what is going on right now I want to make sure they are very well stock with meals. Today however has been for our family. With craziness of supermarkets and lack of items I use regularly I decided t...o use what I could get over the weekend and do a bit of preparing. It's means that alot of the vegetables are the same but I can always add more as I reheat. So we have Bacon Meatloaf with bbq sauce, Mexican mince and pulled pork in bbq sauce (burritos, nachos, baked potatoes, tacos), Spaghetti Bolognese sauce and Lasagne, and Thai Green Curry and Panang Curry. Most of it will be serve with rice or pasta which is on my list of things to get but at least it's a start. See more

11.01.2022 Thai Basil Chicken and Orange Chicken with coconut rice and Honey Pepper Steak and Veg.

10.01.2022 Been a busy week or so. Our baby boy made his bestie a bday cake (and he wanted to do most of it, so I didnt do much at all), pumpkin and chicken risotto, quiches (asparagus and salmon, bacon and cheese, and caramelized onions and feta), chicken and bacon sausage rolls and another birthday cake! White chocolate custard, choc mousse, moussaka with Greek salad and another birthday cake! Pies (savoury, curry, tuna and cheese and plain pies), coffee scrolls and veggie strudel. I hope everyone is staying safe at home and you all have a Happy Easter. Xo

09.01.2022 Wow, 1 year ago today, I did my first client cook.

07.01.2022 We have our first home grown broccoli! Did you know you can eat the stems and leaves of the broccoli? So I made a broccoli slaw with no cabbage in sight and it was a winner with the kids. Also a cauliflower mac and cheese, the colour is from paprika.

03.01.2022 I thought I would post a little update in regards to the current health crisis. I will still be cooking, but only for clients who cannot cook for themselves. These are mainly NDIS clients, and as these clients cannot cook for themselves, I am essential for their day to day meal prep and cooking. Both the clients and myself have procedures in place and ensuring their health and safety is my utmost priority. I hope everyone stays healthy, enjoy the time with your immediate family, and maybe those with kids could spend some time cooking. Much love to you all xo

01.01.2022 Wow, it's been so long since I posted and how the world has changed! I hope everyone is going ok. Given I spend so much time cooking and meal prep for others I thought I better spend some time making something for me. Roasted veg done 2 ways, one with feta, lentils and salad mix, and the other with baked chicken, feta and salad mix. When prepping salads dont put any dressing on and put it in the container in reverse with salad leaves at the top so it doesn't go soggy. Rice p...udding with roasted rhubarb and berries. I'm going to call the next ones porridge pods, our kids love making their own breakfast and we were buying the packs of porridge sachets but they have added sugar so I thought I would try these. They can just add them to a bowl and heat in the microwave, so they are testing spiced apple and blueberry and vanilla. And last one is zucchini slice. See more

01.01.2022 Tonight we traveled to the middle east with Lamb Shanks in a gravy with sumac, sweet potato, capsicums and dates. I wonder what tomorrow will bring?
