03.05.2022 Happy Mother's Day! Mum's and those who fill the role of a mum, play an important role in our lives and deserve to be celebrated and recognised. The role of a mother has been a big focus in our Theatrical productions Little Women and If/Then, and we are continuing the theme with the classic mother/daughter story Freaky Friday this September.... In Freaky Friday, mother and daughter magically switch places and experience a crazy 24 hours where they see how the other really lives - and their relationship becomes better because of the experience! Stay tuned for updates on Freaky Friday! #theatricalinc #freakyfriday #theatremelbourne #whatsonmelbourne

17.01.2022 Theatrical was established to unite people through musical theatre. Coronavirus has caused us to be physically distant and it is still preventing us from getting into the theatre. But it hasn’t stopped our love for musical theatre and our ability to produce community performances. We are proud to present a series of virtual ensemble projects. Our first is One Day More from Les Miserables. It has involved approximately 50 people from all over Melbourne during various stages of... lockdown. The full credits are on the video but special thanks to Kent Ross and Isabelle Khor for all the early mornings, late nights, messages and emails to turn this project from crazy idea into a reality. https://youtu.be/LiD8XqsGmbU One Day More from the musical Les Misérables Music by Claude-Michel Schönberg Lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer

08.01.2022 Some songs are traditionally assigned to a certain gender. But why should that stop us from singing the songs we love? Join our performers live on Facebook as they choose tunes from characters of a different gender to theirs - to celebrate heartfelt musical theatre classics. Save the date. Performer booking details will be available soon.
