The most popular question was around the career path to become a curator, so lets start with that... Our Senior Curator Shelley McSpedden said: Get involved! Volunteer at a local gallery, put on a show at a community space, Artist Run Initiative (ARI) or festival, apply for an internship at a museum, set up your own art space with some friends, write a review of a local exhibition that has rocked your world. The artworld is not one single entity, it has lots of different parts. Getting hands-on experience will help you understand the diverse types of art spaces and communities around, and the different roles you can play within them.
