20.01.2022 Hi, I'm Janelle. I am 'The Babysitter Perth'. For those who haven't met me yet, I hope this helps to answer some questions you may have about me, my training, experience & rates... I'm a mum of three little boys, and also an approved foster carer. Between 1998 & 2001 I studied the Diploma and Certificate 3 in Children's Services and the Certificate 3 in Community Services (Child Protection, Statutory Supervision & Juvenile Justice). I have worked in many Childcare Centres acr...oss Perth as a Childcare Educator (including managing 2 Childcare Centres). I've been nannying and babysitting since I was a teenager. I've also worked at Wanslea Family Services in the Family Day Care office and Co-ordinating the In Home Care Program. In 2008 I worked as an Inclusion Support Facilitator with Child Australia. More recently, the last 6 years, (and currently) I have been working part time as a newborn photographer in my own small business. I am very reliable (thankfully, I've never needed to cancel a booking), mature, responsible, friendly, kind, caring and trustworthy. I have experience with all ages, but most of my professional experience has been mainly working with newborns, babies & toddlers. I enjoy finding out what interests your children & helping them learn & develop their skills to their full potential. I am very comfortable playing outside with busy & energetic little ones, but just as happy to have a cuddle, sing songs, read stories, and rock little ones to sleep too. I have a current Working with Children Check, Police Clearance and First Aid Certificate. My rates during the day are $25 per hour and I offer a reduced rate of just $20 per hour for evening babysitting (after 6pm.) I'm mainly available in the evenings, however I am available for some casual daytime work too. I am based in the Wanneroo / Joondalup area, and happy to travel in the northern suburbs but can travel further on request. With my extensive experience I'm happy to be a mother's help with newborns, so you can sleep, or if you just need an additional hand and some encouraging support to help and guide you through the first weeks of motherhood. I'm more than happy to chat more so feel free to contact me. It’s been a busy year and I’ve loved meeting new families and all of your beautiful children. I’ll be taking some time off in 2019, as I settle in to life as a Mummy of 4!
