18.01.2022 Boy oh boy, is book publication ever a longgggg march. Progress is being made. Today, Nicole from Ark House Press is uploading my memoir to their printer so that they can send me my first order of 30 copies for private use and distribution. Once I get these, I will be doing some additional proofreading and then, once I am satisfied that the print is 'clean', I will then give the ok for the memoir to be uploaded to book distributors such as Koorong, Amazon, Barnes and Noble... 17.01.2022 A major PR article re my memoir has been written which will soon find its way into various trade and book-marketing journals. I will post it here shortly. Still anxiously awaiting the arrival of my first order of printed books.

16.01.2022 You cannot imagine how shocked, overwhelmed and otherwise excited Bev and I were this morning as we passed through the Yeperenye Centre in Alice Springs. There standing right in front the book displays at The Paper Shoppe was none other than the world-famous author of the best-selling memoir Broken Pot: The Making of the Warlpiri Bible. Bev was too shy to ask if he would pose for a picture holding a copy ($35) of the memoir ($35). He graciously and humbly acceded to the ...request--what a guy! 16.01.2022 I have reviewed the first PDF galley-proofs from Nicole at Ark House Press. She has done a fabulous layout job, and given that the memoir is 128 thousand words long, there were not all that many things I could see need correction. Praise God!

12.01.2022 Soooooo close now! Just a few minor things to tidy up in my memoir and Nicole from Ark House Press will finish the layout. Front and back cover done as are the 48 photos that will be inserted in two blocks in the middle of the book.

04.01.2022 'm putting the finishing touches on a Powerpoint slide show that will be played at this Sunday's book launch at the Alice Springs Baptist Church, Crispe Street, Alice Springs. 9:30am and 5:00pm services with (autographed) memoirs for sale afterwords. This picture pretty well sums it up! It was taken New Year's Day 2015 on the Cars ride at Disneyland.
