08.01.2022 Live 'n Local has rolled around for 2017, and The Base is pleased to be a part of the program again! We're holding a workshop looking at the nitty gritty of a typical mix session, using a recent and successful track as a case study. We hope to give people some insights and techniques to apply to their own work, helping them improve their material. 05.01.2022 Welcome all, to 2018! Going to make an effort this year to be more active on the facey, insta, snap etc, 'cause we always have some dope goings-on down here and want to share with the fam! In the meantime and for the fellow gear-heads, there's been a few updates and upgrades to the studio gear list - For studio 1, we've added a Smart Research C2 comp in the rack, along with an entirely new Mac Pro, Pro Tools 12HDX + UA Octo Ultimate on the software side. Studio 2 is in the m...iddle of a proper good facelift too, with a fresh paint job, new baffles, a nice big LCD monitor and fancy HD telly, and for those getting in with Styalz in Studio 3, we've added the Focal Sub to the monitoring system. We're looking forward to a great 2018 with all our old friends, and excited about making loads of new ones! Peace Phil T
