20.01.2022 HOW TO STAY ON TRACK OVER THE WEEKENDS! It’s pretty easy to stick to a healthy eating regime during the week, but then the weekend comes around & it can throw us out of routine. Tips to stay on track over the weekend:... Plan a weekend routine. There will be times when you don’t follow the routine exactly, but it can be helpful to have some structure for your weekends. Eat a healthy satisfying breakfast to start your day. Be mindful of mindless snacking as it adds up quickly. Try to sit down & have proper meals. Be smart when dining out - opt for healthier options. Start with a salad or side veggies, to fill up quicker, skip the bread basket & avoid over eating. Check-in with your body when you’re eating so you know when you’re full - you don’t have to eat everything on your plate - that’s often just habit. You can split your main with a friend/ partner or pack it to take home. Slow down your eating so you know when your belly sends signals to your brain that you’re full (it takes up to 20min). Identify your triggers - some environments may trigger you to eat unconsciously - don’t allow social pressures to make you eat or drink when you don’t actuality want to. Limit alcohol intake having a drink here & there is totally fine, but in moderation & break it up with some waters. Last but not least, It’s important to enjoy your weekends & not let one setback stop you from continuing to working toward your health goals. 13.01.2022 #repost Base Coach @samyzest1 2020 competitions What an absolutely challenging year for all. Countless industries faced countless challenges with the fitness industry coping it with some of the hardest and toughest restrictions. Gyms around the country forced to close the doors and gym goers left with what little they could do at home to keep some normality/pump feels. Catabolic times for many. This also put competitions in limbo and made it extremely diffic...ult for organisers to put together a show for the die hards of the sport. With all that said the ICN held onto hope and made it happen. This season was my 10th year of competing and I’m extremely happy with my presentation. Unfortunately due to the pandemic some states were unable to make it but the quality was on point. This year was about the survivors who kept going even when all looked lost. This competition was for those who stopped at nothing and gave it all even when the outcome was uncertain. This was truly the year of die hard competitors and Nothing will take the pride and happiness I share with the others who held onto hope. Congratulations to all. This season I won Amateur State show Classic Physique National Pro Bodybuilding Amateur National Classic Physique I also earned my Pro card as the First Australian Classic Physique Pro now making me a duel Pro with the ICN. Also not bad for a vegan Now to eat me some more veggies and get back to making more gains! See more
