23.01.2022 Scheduling for success For so long, I was stressed, tired and completely overwhelemd when I owned my salon. There was always a "to do list" that seemed impossible to get through, plus I was trying to juggle being a mum and wife. Since then, I have learnt the secret of scheduling my time, and setting my week up for success.... I now chunk my time into work, self care, kids/home, family time, couple time and it honestly has been a game changer. Sounds simple, but so many of us are not using our calendars to organise and prioritise our time, and cue.... overwhelm.

09.01.2022 Let’s talk burnout I think it’s something that’s not spoken about enough, especially for women in Business. Even just as a Mum. Burnout can rear its head when you least expect it. I’m working hard at the moment to pull myself out of this state. And that’s ok. 2020 has been a BIG year and so much unexpected change. ... But when these things happen I find a few things that help: go easy on myself. Don’t beat myself up when I can’t get everything done I set out to in one day set boundaries sometimes when we help others we can fall in to the trap of not setting clear boundaries. This can drain you prioritise self care. Simple daily self care rituals to improve my mental state ask for help. Who can help you in other areas in your business or life? take time off and don’t feel guilty. I am taking some well earns time off and I’m so excited to be. spend some time alone to brainstorm, evaluate and plan for how you want your day to day ‘dream’ life to look. 09.01.2022 1 year in Business Baby And what a ride it has been. There’s been moments I have wanted to throw it all in and give up....there’s been moments of absolute gratitude and happiness from being able to make such an impact on my clients lives. So eternally grateful to all of my incredible clients. It really is a privilege to work alongside you. I truly believe when you lead with heart driven purpose and your deep why, anything is possible. I have learnt a lot about myself. I h...ave learnt I need to be my own #1 cheerleader and supporter. I have met so many INCREDIBLE business women and I am so eternally grateful to have them supporting and up lifting me. This is my second journey as a business owner and it’s been a very different experience to my first. Sometimes I need to remind myself of that young 21 year old that had no fear and just grabbed life by the balls and made it happen. Big things are coming for this next year of business and I can’t wait. I have so many ideas and passion projects on the way.
