25.01.2022 For those of you sticking around for the Australia Day long weekend, weve got good news. All day Saturday and Sunday were offering $5 Bundy and Cokes, $5 schooners of Furphy, and chef-prepared sausages, with onion in bread, or as our Bangers and Mash special. On Sunday, were playing Triple Js Hottest 100 and chucking in a few extra deals. Well give you a card to write your predictions for three songs, and their place in the top 100. For each song you get right, or within... one spot of your guess, you get a drink token. Piece of piss. And, whenever a Melbourne group or artist plays, as long as the songs going, pints of Furphy are $6. If a Melbourne group or artist WINS the countdown, pints are FREE until the songs over. We look forward to seeing you all next weekend for beer, bangers, and bangers.

23.01.2022 Were very pleased to announce, in partnership with Golding Wines, our first Winery of the Month. Through February and March, well be pouring three beautiful wines from their Market Collection at great prices. The Last Hurrah is an elegant vintage Pinot Noir/Chardonnay sparkling with aromas of strawberry and green apple. A bright and fresh palate with the complexity of brioche and a crisp citrus finish make this wine a delicious choice for a warm day. The Spruiker is a class...ic Adelaide Hills Pinot Gris. The nose is soft and floral, with notes of jasmine, and the cool climate of its origin imbues a natural acidity that acts as the backbone of its palate, punctuated by layers of stonefruit. The Purveyor is a young and vibrant Pinot Noir with a gorgeous bright colour and a big personality. Lifted aromas of rose, cherry, and spice tickle the nose, while bright berry flavours occupy the palate with a hint of game. All three wines will be available by the glass and the bottle, for $11 or $50 respectively.

Well be pouring their Grand Porter, Czech Pilsner, and Australian Pale Ale all week for $11 per pint, $8.50 per schooner, and $6.50 per pot. But dont worry! 06.01.2022 Our feature winery for April is the Lock and Key series, a single vineyard range from Moppity Winery in Tumbarumba and Hilltops, with more awards to their name than its sensible to list. Well be stocking a sparkling, Chardonnay, and Shiraz of theirs for the next month, in addition to their stellar Ros thats already a staple of our list. The sparkling is a 2018 Pinot Noir/Chardonnay with a bright and lively palate and an abundance of fresh citrus flavour. A rich and cream...y mouthfeel and a brilliant effervescence make this wine perfect for any occasion worth celebrating. Notes of grapefruit, citrus, and toasty almond characterise this gorgeous 2018 Chardonnay. Its bright acidity and sublime fruit purity create a modern and expressive wine with an elegant finish. This inviting 2017 Shiraz has a deep, dark hue typical of the Hilltops region. Notes of plum on the nose are followed by red berries and warm mixed spice on the palate. Its a powerful wine, and wonderful drinking now or in the future. All of these wines will be available at special prices through April, for $11 by the glass or $50 for a bottle.
