24.01.2022 Schoolies really enjoyed their excursion to Caversham Wildlife Park where we were lucky to interact with lots of different native animals. We interacted with sheep, goats, ponies, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and koalas, saw a variety of reptiles and birds, and we howled with the dingoes. Most of us had our photo taken with various native wildlife, including a wombat, koala, possum and birds.

14.01.2022 Last week was National Recycling week and in the babies room we collected a lot of resources from the yard such as leaves flowers sticks and honky nuts and we used them in our arts and crafts for painting and gluing. We also recycled some plastic drink bottles and made sensory bottles out of them using rice, buttons, water, oil, food colouring ect so that the babies can see the different reactions and hear the different sounds each bottle made. Sensory bottles encourage the u...se of hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, To begin to discover cause and effect and begin to track images and focus. Sensory bottles assist babies in imaginative play and also helps to self sooth and regulate those big emotions babies can experience.. The babies enjoyed these experiences that Id like to ask if you could please recycle some cereal boxes or milk/drink bottles and bring them in for us, would be greatly appreciated. Tash x See more
