24.01.2022 Tips On Tan Removal - getting skin prepped and fresh for your next tan Use a Tan remover. Waxing or hair removal creams.... Baby Oil - Leave on skin for 5mins then shower using an exfoliating glove to lift tan. Stay hydrated - Drink plenty of water and moisturise daily this will ensure tan comes off gradually - less work for you! Jump in the pool - Chlorine breaks down the tan. Bath time - Soak in the bath with your fave bath oil or salts and use exfoliating gloves. Sweat it out - Hit the gym for a sweat session or sauna.

09.01.2022 Skin prep is essential to how your tan will develop and last! Other factors can be products, hormones or medications. Here are some tips... Prepare your skin! ... Exfoliate to remove dead skin cells which may cause a patchy tan, focus on elbows, knees and heels (do not use an oily or sugar exfoliant. Exfoliating gloves are great for this) Shave or Wax at least 12 hours before your tan, this gives your skins pores time to close so there is less chance of black spots in the pores. Start moisturing your skin and drinking plenty of water the week before your tan to hydrate your skin. DO NOT use moisturisers on the day of your tan, this will create a barrier between your skin and tanning solution. Be FREE of makeup, deodorant, perfume, jewellery and contact lenses. If you need to shower before your tan DO NOT wash hair as the conditioner can leave a film on your skin. Also have a cool shower minimum 2 to 4 hours before tan, any less your pores will still be full of water and may not absorb tan. Discontinue use of olay, dove, nivea, neutrogena and aveeno products.
