20.01.2022 Another day, another community event at our club. Today our garden club life members planted the last 5 trees in the commemorative Grove at the western edge of the croquet lawns. This was followed by lunch at The Bundanoon Club, thanks to Anthony, Thea, Kristen, Steve E and Steve G for ensuring the lunch went well.

20.01.2022 The Bundanoon Club received a grant of almost $20,000 this week to upgrade the club's disabled toilet facilities. Our current facilities are not up to modern standards and the renovation will include widening the door to allow wheelchair access and regulation of the hot water temperature to meet modern standards. Upgrading the disabled toilet facilities will make it easier for members and guest to enjoy the club facilities. The community assistance grant has been made available by Vinnies as we are a community organisation in a bush fire affected area. We are very grateful for the grant, now the hard work begins to get the upgrade work completed.

07.01.2022 Yesterday members of the garden club planted 50 Casuarinas in the grounds of The Bundanoon Club. The seedlings will hopefully grow to maturity and provide food ...for the glossy black cockatoos. The trees are part of a planting to commemorate 50 years of the garden club and will be officially dedicated by garden club life members at a brief ceremony next Thursday at The Bundanoon Club.
