25.01.2022 #Testimonial Kath from Sole Mamma Reflexology approached me to support here gain more clarity on what she really needs to get her website updated and connected with other parts of her Reflexology business. Here is what she has to say about me and my work: ''Technology is not my strongest skill so I asked Birgit for help and she certainly helped me out. She gave me advice on my website and lots of pointers to help me connect the dots so to speak with all the tech issues of run...ning a home based business as a sole trader. Birgit was always happy to chat to help me gain clarity around certain tech issues I was encountering. I’m very grateful for her insights. My website is up and running and I feel more confident with its use in supporting my business. I’d certainly recommend Birgit for any tech issues.'' 24.01.2022 Today is World Gratitude Day. This quote to be seems to relevant during this unsettling time in our world. . Every day I am grateful and count my blessing that I still earn an income and clients that do the same. I have a house to live in, family and friends who are healthy, the list is endless as to what I am grateful for. . Some days being in this state is easier than others, we do live in an uncertain world right now and trust me, my heart is aching for a trip back to my s...oul home for example. . Yet, being conscious about all the good things that I do have right now makes is a little easier to cope and be happy. . What are you grateful for today? See more

24.01.2022 This is super important advice from someone who knows what he is talking about! Ignore the numbers Jack is talking about for now, just listen to the key things he is saying here > 80% of our daily activities should be those that get us further. Not refining our product/service constantly or going inwards..but focus outwards and expanding in an 'imperfect' way. ;)

22.01.2022 [Mailerlite update] Stripe integration is now LIVE on the ML platform, which means you can now sell digital products and subscriptions directly through it. You will need a SitesPro add-on to use this feature. Great news though! https://www.mailerlite.com//sell-digital-products-and-subs

20.01.2022 {Blog Post} Time is our most valued commodity. But are you using your time as good as you could? A calendar can be a great tool to organise your day and set aside allocated time for specific tasks. In this post I cover some ideas on how to set your calendar(s) up with colour coding but also how to incorporate gratitude, goals, etc in it. ... https://tbsf.com.au/how-to-use-your-calendar-wisely-as-a-s/

19.01.2022 Have you ever put more conscious thought into where, how and why you keep and save certain files? Saving everything and anything under sun on your computer without making sure there is some form of logic to it will eventually create chaos (and maybe your first grey hairs!) Setting up a simple filing system is definitely worth it. It will save you time and frustration in the long run. Here are some tips to get you started. It all comes back to the ‘ What you save where, with w...hat name and why’ 1 Creating, sharing, editing and storing documents needs to be individually thought about and document 2 Investigate online file management Software (Dropbox, Google Drive or especially designed software) 3 How are you going to implement it? 4 How to set up the Storage platform 5 How will you maintain it (keep it organised and up to date)? Going through this prep work will help you get it all set up online quicker, easier and with more confidence that you know exactly where to access your documents.

19.01.2022 I was wondering if the lead up to Christmas would be as busy as other years. With 2020 being so unusual, I wasn't sure what to expect. I am sure many of you probably gone through similar feelings. . I decided to allow flow to take its course and adapt my 'sails' so to speak and 'roll with things' as they come. If this year has taught me one thing it is that it is full of surprises and the time before Christmas is no different. . Current clients doing fine and managed throug...h the lockdowns okay, and new leads coming in with amazing humans creating businesses that will change and make the world better for their clients. . THAT is a biggie for me - to work with business owners who genuinely care and crave change that serves everyone, Who have a warmth to them that creates a supportive energy and shows inclusion. . With less than 2 months until the end of the year, I have a feeling more good things are coming our way. Yes, there is still this V thing to consider, but I noticed that if we pull together on the same rope, put our difference aside and open ourselves up to learn and grown with each other, we can beat this and much more. . How do you feel about the lead up to Christmas? Positive, not so positive or meh? Would love to hear all about it. See more

18.01.2022 If I would run a 5 day 'sort your tech & admin out' challenge - where would you need the most help? Yes, I know. These challenges pop up everywhere. Yet they seem to focus on your mindset overall and how you can improve yourself. Or they cover a very specific business area, apart from your basic admin and tech needs. If you feel that your business could do with a bit of a spring clean and tidy up or streamline, what topics/areas would you love to work on the most?

16.01.2022 Planning, even on a basic level, ensures you know what you need to do when and how. Yes, this is something you hear over and over, but it is true! No matter what you intend to do, having some form of organisation based on a plan will help you get where you want. For example, you are interested in creating a Facebook group. From a planning perspective I would ask myself questions like the below:... > Why do I believe I need to create one (purpose)? > What is my ideal outcome? > What research do I need to conduct before starting one? > How will I run this group (time, content, etc)? > How will this group fit in with my overall business plan? You see, your group is part of your business and business plan. So 'going ahead and just doing it' can be a waste of time and energy. It is worth going back to your business goals and ask the usual 'Why, how and what?' before doing something that might not be aligned with your overall goals.

15.01.2022 One of the fist things you probably want to automate in your coaching business is your email send outs to your leads, right?! You have your (free) offer (download, video series, etc) but are struggling to put this in an order that makes sense. Or you have an idea what to do but it doesn't feel like it has the flow you want? Then you need a bit of a plan - an email automation plan that is!... I have done exactly that for you. I created a simple checklist that shows each step you need to have in place BEFORE you set this up in our email marketing software. Are you interested to grab this one pager? Easy, click on this link to get your hands on it https://bit.ly/emailautomationchecklist PS: If you still feel unsure about this process, even with my planner, contact me as I do offer a one off session to provide more clarity and structure on this. DM me for more details.

09.01.2022 Are you wearing all the hats in your business? Why? Yes, I get it that at first there isn't' much cash flow to justify external help. Plus you want to learn the ropes yourself, too. But why wait years to add someone to your business that can help you grow and level up? If thought through and planned right, you can add another person to support you within 6 to 9 months. How?... Become clear on repetitive tasks, time track them, write up a good process and once all that is done, start looking! That is exactly what my newest client has been doing. The growth is happening, stress level was high and it became clear that help was needed to keep up with the demand from their clients. Getting help from either a Virtual Assistant and/or an Admin/Tech coach can really make a massive difference in your (business) life. Got any questions, please let me know.

08.01.2022 {Blog Post} Your growth phase of your business, the early stages, sure can be and will be chaotic, messy, whatever you call it. However, getting into a habit of scheduling in time to work on the inside processes and/or tasks of your business is part of that phase. In my post I explain 4 steps to clean up your internal business admin and tech, which puts you back in control and might even highlight some repetitive tasks that can be automated or outsourced (eventually). https://tbsf.com.au/4-steps-to-clean-your-business-admin/

06.01.2022 Often times we plan to learn a new techie skill or implement a new system, tool or app into our business (and life). And when we get to the point of actually learning/implementing it, well, things just don't work. . Your brain freezes, your head shuts down, you find that you turn your attention towards other tasks that seem more appealing, etc. In a nutshell, it just doesn't happen. Not 'live, breath, create'.... . Then you start to beat yourself up. And let those old loops ...of 'I am not good enough' play on and on. Sound familiar? . Maybe it is time to get an extra pair of eyes to look over what you want to do? And where you are at and want to go with your business tech? And then support you to ensure you get done what you NEED to move your business forward. . If that is you, please contact me and let's set up a virtual chat to see how we can work together. #techieva #connectingthedots

02.01.2022 Business tech should come last in your business. Often, we get so excited with our ideas and what we want to work towards to that we don’t stop to breath and create a plan. Before you can implement any techie tools or apps in your business you need:... A basic business plan Know the direction you and your business are going When to achieve goals/milestones And what you already have Only then can you look for the tech to support you the How. Here’s an example: You are selling some type of product if that is an eBook, course, service or physical item. You want to get going rather quickly. All you currently have is some basic social media presence. The best way forward I suggest is to have a website, where you can create a centralised hub for anything you have on offer. This can be fed to your social media channels and hence start building your email list. Whilst you are looking at creating your website, ask anyone interested to contact you, via social media or by email, so you can take their order and process it manually. Post regularly with images and descriptions so people get to know you and your product(s). That’s it for now. It allows you to get established, the cash flowing whilst working in the background on making this process smoother (website, mailing list, payment taking online, ecommerce, etc.) You don’t need to have all the answers, nor everything set up perfectly. All you need is to try to look for logical ways forward that fit in with your plan. It also allows you to then move to the next item on your business plan. Where are you stuck with getting started? Do you have too many ideas in your head but struggle to put them in an order that moves you forward?

01.01.2022 {New Blog Post} Keeping an overview of 'who does what' in your business is something we all struggle with, even with it being only us in it (do you always remember what/how you do certain tasks?! I know I have moments of total blackout). It is good to know then that many tools/apps offer additional users at no extra charge (be sure to check it out before hand though). Mailerlite is one of them. And it is super easy to add someone else to your account. My latest blog post exp...lains more about this function & how to do it (there is even a short video!). https://tbsf.com.au/how-to-add-an-user-to-your-mailerlite-/ See more
