22.01.2022 http:// ENOUGH good things cannot be written about the life's work of Sr Andrina, as your many, many comments and tributes attested to on our Facebook post sharing the news of her passing. Sr Andrina was a Sister of Mercy for more than 70 years and lived her faith devotedly by serving the community in education, administration and pastoral care. Sr Andrina took to heart and lived fully the words of her order's founder, Catherine McAuley "There are three things that the poor prize more highly than gold, tho' they cost the donor nothing: among these are the kind word, the gentle compassionate look and the patient hearing of their sorrows". May Sr Andrina's life inspire us to do good and to be the love so desperately needed in this world. https://www.themorningbulletin.com.au//sr-andrina/4091388/

Our Rugby League Firsts will put it all on the line after defeating St Brendans College, St Patrick’s Mackay, Mackay State High School and Ignatius Park in the round matches. 17.01.2022 http:// VALE SR ANDRINA // Called to eternal life 12 August 2020. Sister Andrina was the Patron of Ryan House. She was the last Principal of The Range (Our Lady of Good Counsel College) which closed in 1990. This school was located on the site where our girls currently board. TCC was formed in 1991 after St Joseph’s CBC (located on this site) and The Range closed. ... Sister Andrina was an amazing person. Her energy, which only left her in her late 80s, was just unbelievable. She attended many Ryan House Assemblies and took very seriously her role as Patron. Sister Andrina supported our College with prayer and by attending so many events Opening School Mass, Year 12 Farewells, TCC Masses, music evenings, awards nights and academic assemblies, TCC Day and so many more events. She was a supporter of the College, second to none. Sister Andrina dedicated her life to education. The College extends our condolences to Sister Marg, Sister Joanne and all the Sisters of Mercy. We feel your loss. So with a strong sense of losing an icon of our College and with sadness we pray: Eternal rest, grant unto Sister Andrina, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
