18.01.2022 Happy (belated) birthday to The Cheshire Cat! One week ago today (May 1) was our 2nd birthday. But so very different to the way we thought it would be. No bubbles and celebrating - instead shop closed and the world in fear and isolation. It has been a very strange and trying year. Personally, managing chronic health issues and a very unwell child. Globally, environment crisis, bushfires and now COVID-19. Business-wise, still no decent website and online shop and a never-endi...ng To Do list. Yet it has been wonderful year in so many ways. Meeting many, many lovely people; being immersed in creativity; being inspired by incredibly talented folk; being able to support and encourage creativity in others, being part of the beautiful, supportive, clever tribe that is Annie Sloan. Isolation has given us time to think about where we are and where we are going, and what our business will look like when all this is over. In tim...es of stress I just want to hide away in my studio and make stuff, so I feel pretty blessed to be able to do that. Creativy satisfies the soul. It is important to see the opportunities during this grim and crazy time. Extra time at home means extra time to finish all your unfinished projects and start some new ones. Our online shop is still a work in progress, but please get in touch if there is anything you want. We will be delivering around the Mornington Peninsula area and can post anywhere else. 13.01.2022 Here's what to do with your empty Annie Sloan Chalk Paint tins! Haven't posted for a while. This COVID-19 lockdown has given me a serious case of CBB ('Can't Be Bothered'). Kids home schooling, no socialising, no visiting interesting places, it just seems to have gone on forever and it's getting a bit wearying. Anyhoo, we're fortunate to live in a beautiful place with awesome pets and spring is on its way. So I'll get my lazy butt into gear and get creating again...maybe afte...r a cuppa... Hope you are all keeping well and sane.

06.01.2022 I am finally starting to emerge from my COVID-malaise, so thought I'd provide a little update. We are in the process of rethinking how we do things and have closed the wee shoppe in The Village and taken over a little stall in the 'Big House' at The Tyabb Packing House Antique Centre, which *hopefully* will reopen soon. We will have the giftware, furniture and a small range of Annie Sloan products here, and the rest of the creative gorgeousness will be available from our Home Studio, where we will be offering workshops as soon as allowed.

02.01.2022 We were blessed with a visit from this furry bundle recently! Munching away happily by the roadside at the top of our street. Never dreamed we'd have a real live koala so close to home! It didn't stay around long, though and had moved on the next day. (Sorry it's not a better photo.)
02.01.2022 I don't think I introduced the little fella on the right. This is Phantom and he is 3 weeks old tomorrow. We are in baby pony heaven with these two! And they are BFFs. We were worried he wouldn't arrive as he was due the same time as his half-sister Will-'O-Wisp (left), but was born 5 weeks after her. Swipe left to see pix of him at about 2 hours old.

01.01.2022 Sadly due to circumstances beyond our control, our physical shop is now closed. (The Tyabb Packing House where we are located has had to close its gates.) However we are relocating all our lovely Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, stencils and creative gorgeousness to our home studio located in Tyabb, 5 minutes from the shop. We are offering pick up by arrangement, free local delivery and reduced shipping. Still working on the online shop...but you can call - 0477 446 246; email [email protected] or message us in the meantime. Please everyone keep safe, don't lose heart and take this opportunity to do something positive; do the things you never get around to doing. Me, I will be painting and creating in my studio, playing with my animals and spending extra time with my family.
