11.01.2022 #ShepherdsPieNight (Wednesday) We estimate an urgent need of 170 to 200 fresh, nutritious deliver hot- serve warm 500g dinners cooked at home and delivered to... our Martin Place ( x Philip St) distribution site by 5p.m. this Wednesday. WHAT’S NEEDED: you (or your group) to source food prepare cook & deliver by 5pm Sept 2nd anything from 20 to 170 FULL 500mg takeaway packs of freshly cooked dinners. No allergenics or seafood dishes please. If you’re using a bulking agent such as rice, pasta or couscous it’s to be no more than 40% of the meal pack comtents. We value nutrition. Vegetarian, vegan and all ethnic cuisines welcome but please mark hot spicy dishes so. No we don’t have reheating facilities. No we aren’t able to collect from you. Yes you are able to stay and help distribute or talk to the commUnity. Some sample dishes from past kitchens are included in photos. YES you can bring pre packed desserts, & sweets too. Yes bring cold drinks - bottles ot cans HOT DRINKS!! The Coffee Brigade which operates with us are always grateful for catering sized tins of Milo Instant Coffee Also. 12 x 1 litre packs long life milk. 1 kg packs white sugar. It's gonna be a big one Friday night "Join us in Martin Place this Friday night as we get busy resupplying all those in need after the rain we've had this past week.... we've got a truckload of blankets, jumpers, jackets, jeans, beanies and scarves to distribute ...and would love your help! Simply show up anytime you can between 5:30pm on Friday afternoon and 7:30am on Saturday morning. there will be warm soup available for dinner, hot drinks through the evening. no need to bring anything else, just come down and help out for an hour"
