I know so many are still leaving their doors open and that's great but for us we just need some more clarification. Not to say anyone is right or wrong!! For us we just want to be 100% sure!! Our anxiety is high (just like all of you) and we just want to know!!! Remember this is our full time gig not 1 of us has another job to fall back on. We love what we do and this businesses... is our baby. 19.01.2022 2020 went no way that any of us planned! Weddings, Birthdays, Engagements even Funerals were all so different to what we were used too! It was a hard and testing year for ALL OF US! For us personally we worked SO MUCH and were so extremely lucky to be able to run our business during this weird and crazy year! We doubled our sales, got our name completely out there and only had the most amazing customers!!! We were filled with so much joy (and stress ) but we wouldn't change ...a thing about 2020. Even though we couldn't get married we put all our time and energy into our amazing business! I am so proud of Matt and I. The Confetti Room is something we built from scratch with no business experience behind us, minimal balloon training and little to no help! We figured it out ourselves and let the journey take us on one EPIC RIDE! Thank you to our Industry friends for your constant support and words of encouragement, our monthly word vomits about small business truths and our most beautiful customers!!! To see so many of you come back again and again just blows our mind at how many of you just want to support us in every way possible!!! We hope 2021 brings nothing but joy, love and happiness. We are so ready for 2021 and to become husband and wife!!! It's been a longgg time coming! Sunday 23rd May we will officially be MR AND MRS STEWART! 16.01.2022 This is your daily remind that not everything you see on INSTAGRAM is real. Matt and I have really struggled mentally the past few days. Yes, we are busy and we find it hard to say that to you all as we dont want it to come across as bragging especially in the current circumstances. BUTBusy doesnt always equal successful and killing it. BTS we are stressed, fighting with each other, not eating healthy, staying up late to work and not resting enough. We find it hard to fi...nd the balance and I am sure a lot of you do too. No, we dont have kids but we have fur babies who almost killed each other last weekend. One off to the vet and the other not a scratch to him. Now we have to deal with the after math of this as it seems like they will never get a long again, which in turn makes it super stressful for us while running this business. As well, like all of you, we are missing our families and friends terribly. We have not stopped since stage 4 begun. We cant even find the words to say how happy it makes us. The thought of shutting shop brings tears to my eyes, so our hearts go out to those who have had too. We will never get sick of making and creating balloons for you all. We will always keep it real with you guys as our community has always had our back and supported us through the highs and the lows and this is just another low in the small business journey! Which means a high is on the way

14.01.2022 Now this is the ultimate throwback. Our 1st ever balloon wall. I have been going through the archives tonight and if y'all could see some of our 1st garlands you would cringe!!! Remember we didn't get here overnight. It has taken almost 3.5 years to get to this point. Many tears, many lessons and many fights with eachother!! We had no idea how to make a balloon wall but we wanted to give it a go. We researched, practiced and this was the end result. It's not perfect. We see s...ome flaws that we would change now but it was a learning curve for us as small business owners. Please remember It's not always easy and things do take time. Trust the process and say yes and figure it out later is our motto! It is only going to help you grow and learn. Do the hard work yourself. Don't just haggle everyone for the answers. 13.01.2022 This is just a very small glimpse into our day. It is way more than just blowing & making balloons. It's: packing orders, ordering stock, sourcing stock when we can't get it from our usual supplier, emailing, invoicing, designing decals, printing them and then weaving them. It's troubleshooting, scheduling deliveries, working on our website, uploading and keeping track of receipts, ordering helium, uploading to social media and a whole lot more! 11.01.2022 Never loose your sparkle and I feel like I am slowly loosing mine Covid 2.0 has been busier and please know I am not complaining. I love what I do so much (I can't even being to describe it) We have built this business with no business experience, minimal balloon training and a real low self esteem. I found it so hard to believe in myself but I have Matthew by my side and cheering me on and always supporting me I can now say I am proud. This has been the 2nd hardest thing... I have ever done (cancer journey being the 1st) But the past few days I am feeling burnout. I am tierd, not eating well and not putting me and my relationship 1st! I am putting the business 1st and I know it isn't healthy. I find it hard to stop and switch off. We are working so hard to keep up with the demands. Our processes 1000% need to change and I think we may just need a few days off to really put them in place. Please stop assuming we are some large company with multiple workers. I know it may seem like it from the outside but on the inside it is just two 30 something year olds working their bums off!!! Who knew we would be running a business through a FRIGGEN PANDEMIC!!! To all you small businesses give your self a pat on the back. There is no manual for this. We all just do what we feel is best!!!
