23.01.2022 Great news this afternoon for our Melbourne friends! We can’t wait to welcome you once more with open arms from November 8th. We are currently able to take bookings of up to 10 people, either inside or outside in our back garden or the al fresco seating out the front. The Goldfields Room is available to seat up to 9 people for meetings between 4 and 6pm, or for dinner from 6 until 8.30pm. ... 20.01.2022 With lovely Spring weather comes a bounty of fresh flavours, just perfect for a relaxing lunch or dinner. Try our crackly Pork Belly, served on a Carrot Puree with Braised Fennel and an Apple and Red Wine Jus - paired with Phillip Lobley’s local Pinot. This week we are serving our whole Goulburn River Trout with Moroccan spices and a zesty Lime and Pomegranate Cous Cous - perfect with a glass of Sedona Estate Sauvignon Blanc from the Yea Valley. ... Can a bowl of food look more fabulous than Thaya’s Roast Beetroot, Goats Cheese and Walnut Risotto? Try pairing it with the Little Cathedral Rose from Taggerty. And lastly, the Beef Vindaloo is back! 09.01.2022 Hi everyone! We are pleased to announce that, after today’s announcements, we will be reopening for business this Friday night at 5pm! Our COVID safe plan will be in place once more - we will ask all guests to sign in on arrival, providing ID with your address, and submit to a temperature check. ... There will be no bar service at this time, so table service only, but our friendly staff will be there to help with all your needs The current restrictions mean that we can only seat a total of 20 people inside the hotel, with a maximum of 10 people in each area. For this reason, we will have two dinner sittings inside and under the verandah every night, the first at 5.30 then a second at 7.30pm. We strongly advise you book in advance by calling 5772 1004, as these sittings will fill up quickly! However, we are able to seat more people in our back garden and at the tables out the front of the hotel. All outdoor tables will be available to book. Luckily the weather is perfect right now for an al fresco lunch or dinner under the stars!

04.01.2022 I can’t quite believe that it has been 7 years today since we took over the pub from our tenants! From the early days, making it up as we went along, to embarking upon a massive renovation, creating the beer garden last year, to the strangeness of 2020. We have made so many new friends along the way, staff, customers and suppliers, and we thank you all for your support over the years. ... Roll on 2021!
