It can be more prominent around the eyes as the skin in this area is fragile and the thinnest skin in the body. It can make you look tired, unwell and make some people feel very self conscious. What can cause puffy eyes? *allergies *sinus problems *dehydration or bad diet *eye fatigue and tiredness *excessive stress *crying *ageing *genetics *excessive salt intake *applying too ...much eye cream or too close to the eye area *kidney conditions One of the easiest ways to reduce puffy eyes is to drink water! When the body is hydrated there is less chance of water retention and swelling. Drink 8-10 glasses a day, reduce salt intake and caffeine/ caffeinated drinks. Chilled cucumbers work a treat! The enzymes found in cucumbers will help to reduce inflammation super fast. Cut chilled slices and place on eyelids for 10 mins or until they warm up- repeat several times a day.
