There are so many benefits to your mental health, social life and cognitive stimulation from a regular routine of meeting and playing with like-minded people. ... For example, you could make the decision to go to The Dice Club every Saturday for late night gaming, or every Wednesday for D&D, or every Tuesday for Star Wars Imperial Assault or casual Magic the Gathering, or every Friday for Go Club, or every Thursday for open board gaming... New weekly events are also encouraged! Do you want to play Wingspan every Thursday? Do you want to try a *new* game every Tuesday? Do you want to play 40K every Friday? Do you want to run a homebrew rpg every Wednesday? There are already several people who do this, and over time you will develop friendships and build communities within communities. It has a really good campaign system (borrowed from their previous game Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle) that starts as a very simple deckbuilding game and builds into a game that's quite complex!! 05.01.2022 Twilight Imperium 4 is one of the most epic and coveted board games of all time. Daniel will be teaching TI4 at 3pm today at The Dice Club and if youre intrigued by this magnum opus, then I cannot recommend it enough! It will take at least 5 hours to learn and play, but it honestly does not outstay its welcome with very little downtime and streamlined mechanics....
