Pleas...ing aesthetic result with minimal to no visible scarring. A xanthelasma is a soft, yellowish, fatty deposit that forms under your skin. It is commonly located inside corners of your eyelids or around your eyes. It’s not harmful, but in rare cases it may be an indicator of possible heart disease. That’s why it is essential to have it checked by your Doctor prior to any treatment to remove the lesion/s. Treatment plan included Fotona Dynamis SP Erbium Skin Resurfacing with the F-Runner and Anti-Wrinkle injections (administered two weeks prior to skin resurfacing). This particular laser resurfacing treatment allows a fractionated Erbium laser beam profile t...o ensure a quicker recovery with an ablative laser, and still allow adequate controlled skin injury to facilitate skin rejuvenation. The treatment is a comfortable procedure as 1 hour prior to the procedure the skin is numbed with a topical anaesthetic gel. Immediately post treatment the skin feels hot, similar to sunburn sensation. Ice packs can be applied if requested however most people tolerate the heat well, and find the aftercare skincare provides satisfactory comfort. The skin will swell mild to moderately, and have a red appearance for up to 3 days. It will then start to peel from day 4 to 5, leaving the skin GLOWING as seen in the AFTER PHOTO Day 6 images.
