23.01.2022 TAILGATING PENALTY: A 35-year-old school bus driver has been handed an infringement notice for driving too closely behind another vehicle after the bus he was driving collided with a truck in Orange yesterday. About 30 kids were on the bus and two girls had to be taken to hospital with minor injuries. In NSW, the penalty for tailgating is a $448 on-the-spot fine or penalty notice and 3 demerit points.... 22.01.2022 Despite the referral and initial tests strongly indicating infection, a diagnosis was not made and she was not administered appropriate treatment, Shine Lawyers national medical negligence practice manager Clare Eves said of a patient’s experience at a hospital in western NSW. Her condition continued to deteriorate without appropriate treatment and she died of complications of her condition which could have easily been avoided with administration of antibiotics.
